Sorry I'm just now answering but I had trouble viewing my posts. I am doing good. I had some bad burning pain below biggest incision that lasted 1 week. Now it is sore there but better. Thank you all.

Went to my appointment and Dr said that is where he put the port and that it was probably touching some nerves. He said it would eventually burn itself out. Pain is a lot better today still sore though. He also said I may have a reoccurance with the first couple fills or if I aggregate it. But it is better.

Havent been able to figure out how everyone gets their picture on here?? Can anyone explain to me how I can do this. I use my cell phone to get on here. Thanks.

When I had my surgery they put a little circle patch on my neck to dry up secretions and prevent nausea, told me to leave it on 3 days. When I got home the day of surgery I could not swallow cause I had not spit to swallow, I was so dry. Just be sure you dont have one of these little patches on still. It will really dry you out.

I plan on going back on weight watchers when I get back to solid foods. I lost 40lbs on it in 4 months before my surgery. I did the online. My dietican said I could go back on it after I start solid foods. It really works.

I go for my follow up appointment at 11:00 today. I plan on asking the doctor then about it. It doesnt feel warm to touch, not red. I dont know, but it is painful.

I made homeade chicken noodle soup, froze some, and blended it up with my blender stick, ate about 3/4 c. Yummy!!! Ham n beans, cooked in crockpot all day, then blended up, then add a lil ketchup, yummy!!! Chicken soup I used chicken thighs boiled them, with carrots, celery and onion. Picked meat off bones, added it back to broth, bring to boil add egg noodles, cook until done. Tastes great even blended. Oatmeal or over easy eggs mushed up.

How long does it take for pain to go away or at least get better by the biggest incision, which I assume is the port area??? Burns really bad when I stand up or sit.

What is bacon medallions??

Where can unjury be purchased??? Have been hearing alot of you talk about it, but dont know where to get it, we dont have a Cosco.

Scooterbug, u may want to try weight watchers for men online. I did weight watchers from april - august online and lost 40lbs. I am going to go back on it after I can eat regular food again. My surgery was sept 19th. Im on full liquids still. I am also having a lot of burning pain under the bigger incision, hoping it lets up soon.

I dont know if im getting enough protein in, and fluids. I had surgery last wed. I feel full after a 4 oz protein shake. Just full all the time.

Congrads Lori, yes the shower does help alot. Just rest and take it easy.

Well tomarrow morning I will finally have my surgery. Getting pretty nervous, I hope I can sleep tonight. Have to be at hospital at 9am, surgery at 10:30. Hoping all goes well and I get my band. Will keep you all updated on how it goes. Thanks for all the support and great info.

Well my surgery is over with. Surgery was at 10:30, out of hospital by 2:30. It went well, I think my throat being sore and dry is worse than the incision pain. I am very tired also, and cant sleep fro dry throat. Thanks all for the thoughts and prayers. Good night!!!

First day of my preop diet, and I choked down my 2 protein shakes barely. I felt nausea afterwards. I can taste the vitamins, and they are thick. Anyone please help me out. I had atkins.
