Oh I'm well aware of how much I'm taking in and I know it's too much bit my behavioral issues are the problem. that's why I was counting on the band to give me a hand. I'm definitely not doing my part as much as I could bc I'm frustrated that I got this surgery and don't feel any different.

So I initially got 2.5 cc put in when I first got my band. I then got another 2.5 put in about 4 weeks later. A few weeks after than I am up to 7 cc. I haven't lost any weight since my first month out which is 20 lbs. I could (but I don't) eat anything and just as much as I did before surgery. No leak either. . I am going in tomorrow for my 4th fill. I hope this does the trick. I honestly feel the exact same that I did before Lap band. I was hoping that this would be used as a tool along with healthy eating and exercising but I still feel very much alone. Has this happened to anyone else?!?

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling much better. Still feeling anxious from having a foreign object in my body, but I guess I'll get used to that?

Thanks for sharing everyone! This is truly motivating!

Hi everyone! I was banded one week ago. This past week has been great (except for pain in chest with deep breathes) until today. My pain is the worst it's been and my tummy is rumbling like crazy. It's seems to be gas pain but nothing is doing to trick. I have a md appointment in 8 hours and am just trying to hold out and not take myself to the hospital. Please tell me I'm not alone in this?! Has anyone else experienced this pain an entire week out of surgery?

My surgeon said it was fine and actually wanted me to eat solids so I would at least feel some restriction. Every surgeon is different.

Thanks everyone. Yes I've been very mobile since the day of surgery. It just scares me that it's always going to hurt to breathe! It's probably normal to feel that way though right? How long until you were able to "normally" breathe?

Hi everyone,
I had my band surgery 6 days ago. I am having pain right at my port area (which is between my ribs midline and sternum when I take a deep breath in. It is not associated with eating and is constant from when I wake up until I go to bed. I tried advil bc i figured it was the inflammation from the port that may be pushing up against my ribs and lungs and that does seem to help. Did anyone else experience this and will it go away? I see my doctor Tuesday for a follow-up but I could use some peace of mind that this isn't just happening to me!

Got my band yesterday 4/15. Went home the day of surgery and was feeling great. Now the pain is kicking in since general anesthesia wore off. What is everyone eating? I know I'm not supposed to but I honestly could eat solid food now I feel. They filled me with 3 cc but I really don't feel restriction. Anyone else feel that way?

Hi everyone, I got banded today. Everything went great. My surgery started at 7:45 am and I was home by 1:30. I even came home and walked a 1/2 mile outside. My question is, did anyone else feel no restriction right away? They filled me with 3 cc in surgery and I honestly already feel like I could chew foods and eat. Is this normal?

Nope, still nothing again. Maybe a "smidge". I was definitely thinking it'd put me in the green zone but nope, . Guess its just me and my willpower again.
