That is awesome .. I am a year out & am doing great with him I have another friend I will try to get set up on here she is just starting with him to & has alot of stuff to do for insurance so ur surgery dates will probably be close we are from Zanesville .

Almost 5 months & I am down 50 lbs

I called the doctors office & the nurse say something about a nerve. After about a day & a half I feel fine. Have another fill schedule for the 10th of January. Asking for a x-ray to make sure everything is going right.

Got my first fill yestersday.. Felt fine when i went to the dr's got my fill & now I have a pain( a aching pain no like a belly ache) in my stomach. & lower left side in my back.. paranoid something is wrong with my band .. any one else have this issue?

Down 21 lbs & Got my first fill & lt was 3.5.

Went to the dr's 2day for my 1 week check up .. Down 20 lbs from start & down 10 sence surgery... Everything look good as far as my belly..Port site is still real sore but they say thats normal. Go Dec 10th for my first fill can't wait..

So I am 3 days Post-opt & feeling pretty good... Head aches r gone just needed to eat some broth. Here is my next ?. How long before u guys all started driving? I want to run to the store & get more soups & popsicles & I want to drive. Havent talking any pill sence early wensday morning So i know i am safe from that.

Thank U every one for ur responses. I actually ate some Chicken broth & that helped a lot.

I am 2 days Post-Op & I am suffering BAD with a head ache... Any suggestions on y or how to make them go away. thats the only thing making me miserable right now. belly is doing great.

I was banded on the 30th & my only complain is HEADACHES. & I know its not from Caffine withdraws because I havent drank soda or tea in a very long time

got there @ 7:30 checked in @ 8 went back got my iv & stuff... went in @ 10:30 for surgery its self woke up in recovery & actually remember it around 3ish & was home around 4:30ish. not feeling to bad.. course right now taking my pain meds like clockwork for the first 24 hrs & then going to ween off of them as much as I can 2morrow.

Tomorrow Is My BIg Day Getting Nervous has heck

Did another EKG today & passed so my surgery date is still the 30th .. Just did my 1st day of liquids.

Very Disappointed Got a phone call & I guess my EKG came back adnormal, The tech was having alot of trouble with the machine the day I was there so I have to re-do it & of course do not call me till 4 after everything is closed. So I have to set it up tomorrow so looks like my surgery will b set back till November seeing I only have week to go .. BUMBED

11 days till I am banded & getting a little nervous about doing the pre opt diet (even though My dr doesn't require it). Did any one get out the same day they was banded? my doctor says If I do well enough I could go home same day? That just seems a little scary to me.

This time in 2 weeks (Oct 30) I will b banded Can't wait. Go see my surgeon tomorrow to sign the final papers & Get my blood work Done. My Daughter had her surgery for the Gastric Sleeve today in Texas. Talk to her earlier & she is doing great has already been up walkin & not in much pain. Is there any one else getting banded on Oct 30th?

My daughter is getting the gastric sleeve done tuesday & 2 weeks to the day I am getting banded.. I am so nervious more for her than my self.. doesnt help matters she is in texas & I am in Ohio.. Hurry up the 30th

ok wondering if u October banders can help me out? I am having my surgery October 30th & am a little ( no actually a lot ) disappointed in my doctor.. See the only thing I had to do to get approved was 1 prove I had tried a diet plan before & Failed & then I needed a letter of necessity from my doctor which I got. Here is the thing he doesn't having me going to any kind of nutrient class nor does he do a pre opt diet & that makes me nervous, I am trying to find a nutrient that has experience in bariatric diets on my own but the closest one is a hours away & scheduling way after my surgery. So here is my question for u guys I want to do my own pre opt diet can some one give me a ideal on what i need & how to do it? i would like to do it for the last 2 weeks before surgery does that sound about right. Thank you ahead of time if u take time out of ur busy schedule to anwer my questions.

I have ask this same ? in different threads & never seem to find any one who is useing it... Did u end up useing it or trying something different?

Godd Luck to all U November Band "wagons".

i have BCBS Ohio & The only thing i need was a letter of Medical necessity which was just a letter from my dr stateing my weights from I started going to him till now. he had to write Any other medical history i have & that he talk to me or helped me do a diet & it was not working. & wehter or not he thought i needed it.. I got approved my first time.. Good Luck
