Good luck everyone on your surgery...welcome to all the newbies and I am hoping to be sleeved in April...yes I am nervous and anxious at the same time

I hate to say but isn't that everywhere u work ppl are in your business.....I hope so one can answer that because I didn't want anyone knowing of my surgery either

Well I have not had the surgery and can tell you as far as the lap band is concerned a lot of doctors are not doing them as much because of the complications involved if you look online here you will see soooooooo many people being revised...and most of them being revised to the sleeve..I have people I know that had gastric bypass and from what I know there is more malabsorption involve.. good luck on what you decide....the question you need to ask yourself is do you think you can do this on your own if so give yourself a year to lose the weight...Good luck

That's very good....don't let it get u down..your losing and maybe your not eating as much if your exercising...I would take those 30lbs if your giving them up

Your doctor is full of it....honey your losing and not gaining...its hard for me to lose 1lb a month and I havn't had the surgery yet.. your on the LOSERS bench and don't forget it....that doc needs a chill pill

Your doctor office should have one..just about all the doctors I know have a support group...you may want to ask,,,also seach on here there is a Facebook group here in Ohio for WLS ppl

consider yourself lucky most of us have to do 2-3 weeks of preop....me I would do the 5 day just in case I slip up...Good luck

Ok I was confused but I assume Bella changed her name? Either way Bella do you think you sleeve is larger than others... can you get an xray would that show you if its not as small as you thought it would be....I just hope mine isn't too small that all I can eat is one egg and be full for hours....Good luck on your journey....I hope that we can all agree to disagree.eoc

Hi it depends on your insurance if your first visit is considered your first visit and also I know some people have to wait a couple of months before they can get a surgery date and some get them within a couple of weeks...I guess it could depend your doctor and how busy the practice is..I have not had the surgery yet but I have my hands crossed for early april..Good Luck

Yes we have a place here in Cinti for woman they have never been in the workforce or being on welfare so I am sure its hardier to find professional outfits to wear..I have slack and nice clothes to wear to work...one thing I complimented on was they way I looked going to work....
