  1. Hello. I am post op day 11. I woke this morning with right upper abdomen pain' date=' close to the rib cage, mainly with intake of breath.has anyone had this? I wonder if I slept wrong, I did sleep on my right side for a bit last night.[/quote']

Did you get your gallbladder removed? Developing gall stones i know is a risk of surgery and you described the location of your gallbladder. Hope you are feeling better.

  2. hii everyone im 21 and got my sleeve 6 months ago when i was 20 best thing i could have down.. the only thing that gets me sometimes is what pol will say or think and when and how do i ket pol knnow ive got the sleeve .. any feed back ?

I don't think you need to tell people you got the sleeve. I told two good friends and then my mom dad and sisters. Everyine agreed that it is a personal choice and that I shouldnt feel like I owe it to everyone i know to explain myself. You can simply say you're doing a medically supervised diet or just say you are making healthier choices! I've accepted that no matter how great of a speech I come up with on why or why not I chose to have the sleeve done, there will always be people with a judgmental opinion. I do think it's good to find a couple friends to confide in though so you don't feel alone in the process :). Good luck!

  3. I have BCBS of New Jersey - My information was faxed July 27th and I got approval today (August 6th) so 6 business days.

When I called my insurance company and spoke to the manager they said that once they begin processing it takes about 5 business days. I'm sure it varies state to state.

    Good luck to you!

  4. Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would post in the forum! I got approved today for an August 22nd date. I got lucky in the fact that my insurance was actually pretty easy to work with and I got approved the first time I applied. I'm enjoying reading everyone's stories on here and am very glad I am having the surgery before I head back to school in September!
