LillianneMcBeth I had the same issues but also had hiatal hernia and an ulcer..my doc had me clear up the refux better by taking medication.thn I had to retest..the second time was better and she thn felt comfortable to do it. She did worn me that my reflux could get worse with this surgery because of the way stomach is cut.but I chose sleeve still because I had the ulcer and if it became bleeding ulcer will be difficult to get to if I had bypass..but she also stated if my reflux got bad as it was she would have to change my sleeve to a bypass to cure the reflux
  2. I was honest..I did this for me and my family..it's a positive choice..so why lie? You did nothing wrong..I am off insulin after there weeks.that's good and lost 25 in there weeks..sounds like something to be proud of to me

Just tough it out..after is better far as hunger goes..I know it's not easy I did it and do can't you..just picture your goal and focus on where you need to be..occupy your mind go walking or read..do what ever takes your mind of food.most off all be patient with yourself..wish you guys the best..sleeved April 24 and 20 pounds gone

I was also sleeved the 24th..hi..as for myself I was so sick and in pain my first week..couldn't drink had to get meds to stop vomiting..but I am much better now..my post op appointment is may 15..can't wait to have something different.I am not eating enough protein or water is my concern..I figured out I was drinking 3oz at once and it was way too much so now I'm doing one ounce every 10 minutes. and I'm able have more like that

  6. I have done everything possible but my psychologist didn't answer my weight loss clinic call.. That was a month and a half ago..they told me when I went. They have me coming once a month until im sleeved.. Hopeful we get a call back soon.. Then they will send my letter to insurance company..then I will meet my surgeon..guess what then I will get a date..7 months in now!

  8. Tinytears its usually 20% of your weight.my doc told me 10% being I quit smoking..it hard for me too..I have lost 60 pounds before 30 before.. But now I am needing to lose and have lost 10 so far..need 7more

  10. I am seven months in next month....uh I missed the psychology doc apt some how... So I have it july 16.. So I guess after that I see a surgeon??and my papers get sent to the insurance.. PS I quit smoking in april.. You have to have quit 3 months before surgery..I pay $40 co pay a visit..and $375 nutrition fee..$2000 surgery co pay..but all worth it to be healthy
