I'm 7 days out and I dream of this day.

I don't think so. To each their own. I'm day 8and just barely making it around because of the loss of calories. I'm drained. I would not want to socialize for any reason up until this point but I'm starting to feel better today

From what everyone has told me thus far: a main culprit is the multivitamin. Not sure if you have started yours yet but that is what I was told.

No drains at all the incision is by the pain

I just had my surgery yesterday morning...still in the hospital and I feel that pain you described.

Haven't even had any solid food and I hv the most terrible gas. I never had bad gas before and I don't understand why is smells so bad..... There's no food in there !....what the hell!

I am one week out today and it takes me half hour to drink 1/3c Soup and it hurts if I sip too fast

I suggest you call your surgeon just for the piece of mind.

I did he said he has heard of people claiming to hv that pain and said it goes away in about a month. He said as long as I don't hv a racey heart rate and I'm urinating Ill b fine. He said it sounds like its healing slow

Sometimes when your body is building tissue' date=' it creates a burning sensation inside or an itchy sensation outside. All of my incisions are now itchy so I know they are healing. That's how I feel when I cough.

I'm 4 weeks post op today. I was wondering if anyone else was dealing with an issue I'm having. All day long I feel like I'm choking on something it's almost like a heartburn feeling. I'm taking my Pepcid & also other meds to help but it's getting to the point it's interfering with my eating. I feel like when I start to eat I'm choking also.

I'm just very frustrated & just wonder if all of these issues are ever going to go away so I can enjoy actually eating again. Just feel very frustrated & really ready to feel "normal" again.

Are u sure your burning sensation is not that?

I think I will give them a call so we can compare. I also notice it more when I lay down or stretch & not sure if you're the same. It's very odd.

I ended up staying 3 days because of vomiting even odd meds. It's been a little rougher recovery than I had hoped but I'm finally getting back to normal! Yes mine is when I drink it feels burning like its stretching burn. That's great on the weight loss! Can't wait to chat again. Hope u get relieve. Mine hurts sooooo bad when I cough. I bet we strained it by coughing and vomiting

I'm actually feeling somewhat of the same pain. It's an odd burning pain to the left of my belly button. I'm curious to see what you find out.

My dr said he wasn't sure yet he has heard of this before an it could last up to a month and as long as I'm peeing and no racey heart rate then nothing to worry about& said to take it easy. I'm gonna check back in a week and see what he says. U should ask ur dr. as well and see what he says so we can compare. Just wondering if anyone else was told they didn't have to do a Pre op. my surgeon is at a center of excellence and told me I could eat up until midnight the night before surgery' date='. I just find it odd after seeing everyone doing the Pre op diets[/quote']

My preop diet was to just lose the weight I needed to. After I made weight I could eat what I wanted until midnight

I don't know if this is serious or not and the best anyone else can do is give an opinion. Call your doctor for the answer.

I I just had gastric sleeve surgery 6days ago and just got off the liquid loritab yesterday. 2days ago I started feeling a burning sensation just left and below my belly button. I wasent sure if I've always had this pain and it was covered up with the medicine and if this is something to be concerned about? Hv any of u experienced this?

Thank u I hope that's it. Mine is where there is no incision. Mines below belly button but yes it feels burning like pulling. Especially when I drink anything
