I had my surgery in Tijuana Mexico on July 7 2012 everything went great it was $4500 there for the sleeve

Hi Karen I had my surgery on July 7 2012 I am self pay so I went Mexico to have it done. I went into surgery about 315 pm and was in my room at about 5 pm I was up walking around shortly after I got to my room the pain hit me about 11 pm that night I kept thinking it was gas pain but I finally ask for and was given pain meds I only needed some pain med the next day after that the pain was very minimal I did not have real bad pain at all and the meds keep it under control if you just ask for it before the pain gets out of control. If I had to do it all over again I would I had a start weight of 280 I am now almost 210 I used to have to take Motrin for knee ankle pain daily but I don't have to anymore my blood pressure has come back to the normal but higher side so far but I am not on meds anymore I feel so much better now James

Yes most of it I had 5 days of clear liquid lost a few pounds during that time

I more or less stick to high protein low carb diet

What was your starting weight and now weight I started at 280 I'm now down to 210 I can wear size 34 waist down from 44-46

I would make sure to keep the hand clean and not scratch it sounds like it is an infection but I doubt that is is from the surgery could be a cellulitis infection

Yes I can understand one of my friends that likes bears does not want me to lose the weight but then said don't lose to much of it. When was your surgery date mine was July 7 2012

I had my surgery at JH in Mexico how was your experience there mine was July 7th 2012 mine was good for the most part except the first night

The gas Xstrips dissolved in your mouth

Are you using gas X strips for the gas pains it really helps I had my surgery in July and was told to make sure to get gas X strips for gas pain was only like 2-3 days

Yes as long as the soup is strained you would want to go with cream Soups

I am a bear and wonder where I will fit in I am in San Francisco anyone here from the bay area I am new here just had the sleeve in Mexico 4 weeks ago today weight is falling off but I am glad I feel much better now would like to meet new friends
