no, not weird. I don't mind that either doing that either. Your v-day plans sound perfect. I think we are staying home this year just because we are stretched tight right now with the wedding. We've only stayed home on v-day a handful of times in all these years together. Like you I'm gonna make him a nice romantic dinner. And your menu sounds divine! I'm making shrimp and grits sooooo romantic, lol. But I love it and he loves it so that's what I'm making... some cheddar biscuits too.

there is an influx of weddings in our family all of a sudden. My family has a saying that loosely translates to once one block falls all the others come tumbling down... They predicted that once my wedding came around all these other weddings would come around. They say it's true for weddings and babies. Once one baby comes all of a sudden there is pregnancies all over the place, LOL... So this year it's my wedding in May, then my cousins wedding in July then another cousin in August. We all want to get preggo quick so then next year hopefully lots of new babies! Yay! I love it when families have lots of babies in them. We went through a period of many many years when there were no young children in our family. Hopefully my sisters start settling down soon that way they can start having babies!

i've never heard of planting a placenta! what would that be for?? he sure did have us fooled. He was not fired, he was downsized. But when my boss went into our accounts EVERYTHING was messed up. He half assed everything. He did enough just to get by and not cause suspicion. I wonder what would have happened? Eventually when we were closing out the year everything would have been discovered.

What got me was the fact that pam said you could read in bed and not have to worry about adjusting where your light is. I love reading horizontally but always have trouble with my bedside lamp not giving me adequate light. No issue if I have a kindle... I need it for my honeymoon anyways. oh noes!! don't let my bebe cry. give him whatever he wants!! all this talk of fussy babies make me want one so bad, NOT! LOL... sometimes i'm so ready and sometimes i'm so not! ditto with the apple stuff, i hate it too. It makes me feel dumb, lol. Well it doesn't take much but with all the apple stuff it REALLY makes me feel dumb... Pam - i say go for it on the rental. we currently have two rental properties. Right now the rent barely covers the mortgage payment because of the way the rental market was so competetive last summer. This summer when we get new contracts on them we will be able to ask for more and make a teeny profit. At first I hated being a landlord. You have to make sure that you get good people renting. If it's the wrong people they will tear up your property and it'll cost you more in the long run... But again, don't let this discourage you. My mother in law has like 5 rental homes and my dad has about 7 of them. They don't ever have any issues. Let your realtor be your go between. Hmmm. What else. Hopefully by the end of next week we will have decided on the caterers. That and the linens was the two huge things left to do. Then on Saturday I will sit down and make a list of all the little piddly things I need to do... Which is probably 125,000... Did anyone see the new reader from Barnes and Noble? What have you heard about it if you have? Laura - I want a flip so bad! I want one to take on our honeymooon. Which one did you get? Do they have a waterproof one?

I'm going in for a complete unfill a few months in. I'm so scared of a slip and it's way too common. good morning! just another busy busy day for me... I was here so late last night and when I went home I just crashed. I didn't even get up to make anything for dinner. Juan ended running out for tacos. I'm so tired again today... Meeting with our priest today to finalize some stuff about the ceremony! So excited!! I'm gonna ask him about the music and the readings and about the flow of everything. I have tons of questions for him. Meeting with yet another caterer tomorrow. Still trying to convince my parents to let me choose someething non traditional for dinner. I met with one chef and he let me sample his smothered pork chops and cheese grits and OH MY GOSH i was in heaven. SO SO GOOD. But no go with my mom. Pam - hope you're not getting sick! Load up on EmergenC. It's these little packets, they sell them at the drugstore. Like 5000 milligrams of Vitamin C in each pack... should help in staving off any cold/flu Judy - aww poor Lucy! We decided to go to Playa Mujeres there in Cancun. Short flight is what convinced me. Originally we had planned to go to Punta Cana but the flight to get there is soooo long and you have to change planes. I hate doing that. So anyways, we settled on Playa Mujeres. A resort called Excellence Playa Mujeres. All inclusive and for couples only... YEAH... LOL

oh and i meant to post of picture of me at the shooting range yesterday. I took a turn and ended up almost breaking my nose with the lens. I wasn't expecting the ricochet to be so much and I was too busy looking at the target! Man, I saw stars it hurt so much. Now just a big bruise, GREAT... :wink:

hi hi hi! what a busy hectic monday... we are going to have to hire an expert audit team to come out and go through our 2009 books. apparently my former boss wasn't doing such a hot job and the accounts are a mess! WOW... Heather - your idea is awesome of putting money away like that. We are such spenders! It's so hard for us to save. The only thing we really save right now is our 401K. I think we need to do a better job of having our savings account be plump... Michelle - ugh, i'm sure you're still up to your ears in laundry and mess right now! I wouldn't want to be you! YAY judy! That is so awesome! You are so good and you should be proud of your willpower. You're gonna be skinny minny when you come down to texas. make sure you pack your bikini, LOL!! heather - you know what, you have to take it one hour at a time sometimes, LOL. I would agree, do a sensible thing for dinner. I'm so guilty of letting one bad meal dictate another bad meal. If I screwed up then let's leave it and try to do good for the next one... My piehole report: Breakfast - strawberry/banana activa yogurt with 2 Tablespoons of granola mixed in Lunch - 1 cup of macaroni pasta soup made with turkey and potatoes and carrots and of course macaroni. Dinner - we are gonna go eat paella at my aunt's house. I'm gonna stick to just eating the protein (shrimp, mussels and chicken) I've had 32 oz of water and working on my next 32 and by bedtime will have consummed 96... One step at a time....

oh me too. i'm bad about eveything! writing stuff down, excersising, eating right... it's any wonder i haven't keeled over yet... but we can do it together... so far today i've had 1 of my promised 32 oz of water... It's 4pm and i'm starting on my other one... when i get home i am jumping on my mini trampoline for 15 min. then i am going over to my aunts house to eat paella :/ i'm gonna try to just eat the mussells and shrimp and leave the rice...
