omg, i haven't tracked my food but here is what i ate. prob 2000 calories compared to you michelle and i don't even realize it... i need to get back to inputing my food on dailyplate.com B: cup of coffee, no sugar, big tablespoon of creamer L: 1/2 cup tuna salad (tuna, one boiled egg, teaspoon of mayo, teaspoon of dill relish) S: one light strawberry/banana yogurt D: one stuffed bell pepper (bell pepper, ground beef), 2 tablespoons tomato salsa (tomatoes, onions, jalapenos) i rode my bike today! went all the way to my aunt's house at the neighborhood down the road from us. about 15 min there and 15 min back... oh and 2 liters of water! yay me. i guzzled it today... have a good night ya'll. i'm pooped and headed to bed early...

Michelle - okey dokey. I'll check in after the gym tonight. For dinner I'm making stuffed peppers. That's low carb right? Ground beef stuffed inside poblano peppers smothered in a tomato salsa... I'm not breading them this time...

Heather - I totally mind and I'm not of the american persuasion, LOL!!! My best friend is Chinese and her family cooks all fish and shrimp with heads on. I have to drape my napkin over my poor fish head when I eat it. BUT, I love it! I'll eat every last bite! And yes, you would be surprised how different American Chinese food is to the authentic Chinese food....

Good morning girls!! Happy Candlemas to you! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was a little slow but very pleasant. Did alot of stuff around the house that I hadn't around to doing. Today is Candlemas so I put away my Nativity Scene yesterday. We put up a new foyer light that I've had in the garage for two weeks. We layed down some stones in our flower beds. Sunday we went to church and then we headed over to my parents house to watch the game. I ate way way way too much. Grazing all day long mostly... I got my bike! I actually didn't even have to buy one. I was talking to my mom about me getting one and one of my aunts said that she had one she could give me. It's brand new, she only rode it twice and then she fell off and she never wants to see it again, LOL. So I went riding for a bit yesterday. My ASS hurt though. I need a new seat for it. Couldn't stand the pain... TracyK - hope your eye gets better!!! It looks like maybe some debris fell in during the move?? TracyKS - glad all the adults were able to come to an agreement about Cody's treatment. Much love to you... Michelle! You start kicking ass today, right? Me too! Gym tonight and back to band rules. I'm glad I have ya'll as support no matter how many stops and starts I have! Judy - The indoor water park sounds awesome! Can't wait to see pics! Terry - did you get hail yesterday? Right at 6pm we got a huge thunderstorm and then tons of hail started coming down. It was the weirdest thing... As far as vacations planned, we are going to Isla Navidad in March, then Cabo in June, then Vegas in Oct. We didn't cut back this year mostly because we have places to stay in Isla and in Cabo. My parents have friends there so we only pay for airfare. Well, actually my parents pay, LOL. I know, we're spoiled... Pammy - WHOLY CRAP that's a big tatoo!! Usually the house is split during the super bowl but this year we were all rooting for the Steelers. It was an awesome game!! Okay so there is a new series of workshops that they are going to be giving at church. It's about building a better relationship with your spouse/significant other. We've been waiting for it to start and we're excited about going. Helps you with communication, forgiveness ect. and it's lead by our priest. Starts with a retreat on 13th through the 15th. Can't wait!

Good morning ladies! I'm so glad it's Friday!!! I've been MIA because I've been busy at work. Been in and out of the office most of the week. When I am here I have to just catch up... Also at home we are planning our spring and our summer vacations so I've been to my mom's house almost every day this week. It's always a ton of us that go so the logistics are a nightmare. AND the spring trip falls right on Spring Break and we already had weddings scheduled so then I had to go talk to Juan's mom about her getting someone to help her when I'm gone. Phew... so many things that have to fall into place... What part of the country is without electricity right now because of the ice storms? Any of my lovies?? I was half listening to the radio yesterday when they said they would be without power until Februay... That really really sucks. Two nights ago we were down to about 33 degrees and I had to jack up my heat to 72. I don't know why I'm so thin skinned. I get cold very easily... Judy, have fun with your grandkids today!! Suzie, what was the movie about and who was it with? I haven't seen any promos about it here... Laura - your bump is so cuteeeee!! I agree with all the other ladies, I look waaayy more pregnant than you, LOL. Pammy - So exciting!!! How often are your meetings gonna be?? You already have such a full life and then to take this on too!! how exciting!! Jane - my fill doctor always fill me standing up and the needle just sits there sticking out of me while she adjusts the machine to see my band. I try not to look down!! How's everything with you? TracyKS - Have you seen the movie Twilight yet? Did you hear that they want Dakota Fanning to play the role of the vampire girl in Rome? Wouldn't she be perfect?? I always meant to ask you ladies in the north - when schools close because of weather do your kids have to make it up? It seems like they're out alot for snow and stuff and i just thought that those makeup days would eat into their summer vacation alot. How's everyone else today?? I'm gonna be super busy the rest of the week so I'll be in sporadically... Have meetings away from the office today and thursday and when i am here I'll need to catch up on what is on my desk.... not looking forward to this week. Pray it goes by quick!!! Pam - I want a butterfly too!! It's actually a set of three butterflies. They are all different sizes. The overall size is of the whole thing is about inch and a half though. Not very big at all. My little sister has been trying to convince me for ages... Yeah, I tend to beat myself up alot but I feel like if I don't then I'll be worse! I just try to have patience everyday and let the little things go and not feel like I have to control every situation. That's my biggest issue is letting go of the control of everything little bitty thing.

Laura - your lamp turned out so cute!!! I went online last week to see your baby registry and I'm assuming they aren't complete yet? You haven't picked out hardly anything! Do you already have most of your stuff?? Terry - Aww so sorry to hear that they had to put the Pyrenees down. And so young! I'm so thankful that so far my babies have been happy and pretty much healthy. We went to go see Marley and Me a few weeks ago. Have you seen it? I read the book a few years ago and was excited to see the movie. They did a good job with it... I still haven't gone to go get my bike!! It just seems like the weekends fill up fast even when we don't have set plans...

Michelle - I hope you find out what is wrong at the doctors. I'm sure worse than her pain is you not knowing what to do to help her... Pammy - I've been wanting to get a tatoo for awhile now. On the top of my foot. I know that's the most painful place on the body but that is the only place I would ever consider it. I am always preocupied about how it's going to look when I'm 80 and I figured feet don't sag, LOL... Suzie - That used to be my most favorite sweater! I loved it on you! I'm so glad ya'll were able to use some of my stuff. TracyKS - everytime I hear you said how much more laid back you are with your happy pill I get reminded of how much I need it. Yesterday I had a huge fight with Juan because he wanted to go to the "contemporary" service at church rather than the "traditional" one that I preffer. I felt like crap afterwards because I realized how petty I was being. It should be enough for me that we are going to church TOGETHER. Ugh, I can't get my shit together and I just continue to beat myself up about it. Anyways, the reason I haven't gone to my GP to get some sort of help with my emotions is because I'm so ashamed of dissapointing him with my weight loss. He was the one who convinced me to get the lap band and he was excited for me each time I would come get a check up and I would be smaller and smaller each time. Now I'm probably the same weight as when I went a year ago. Sorry to unload, just had a rough Sunday...

Morning ladies! Feeling so much better today. More like myself now that the bloating has gone down. I hate when I get like that. Zit is gone, just a red blemish left. I'm so ready for the weekend!! Weather is going to be gorgeous again so we're gonna start getting our flower beds ready for the spring. I don't have any bridal appointments this weekend so I'm going to just relax for once... morning, or actually good afternoon... sucky day sucky day huge zit on my nose. not pretty. Just started my period. I'm bloated and huge. Ugh. Nothing to contribute to anything. Don't even want to work. Just want to go home and plop back into bed. Wish I could stay there until this weekend. One more day, one more day...

Yay, good job Pammy! 6 lbs is alot!! I haven't had the courage to weigh since after I got back from vacation. I'm gonna wait a few more weeks and keep up trying to do good before I weigh.... Michelle - I was riveted to the TV yesterday too! We woke up around 6am and watched in bed until around 9am. Then I got up and made breakfast and we ate on the couch in front of the TV. Then the rest of the day was the same. Flipping from one channel to the other to see what everyone was saying. Can't believe you were so close to all that! Judy - Sounds like the WiiFit comes in so handy with Ethan! Keeps him entertained and wears him out at the same time! Heather - love love love that baby name. It's just beautiful and unique. I'm gonna look up to see how much your bike is at the sporting goods store down the street. I'm hoping to find something for less than $200 bucks. The one you have sounds good because i'd like it for street use and for park paths use too... I'll keep you updated. Hopefully by next weekend I'll have made up my mind... Terry - We've got 6 spring time weddings booked. Three in March and one in April and two in May. There's another girl who wants a shotgun wedding on Feb 28th. She's still trying to make up her mind. I told her she doesn't have much time left if she wants to get it catered. I usually have to get the catering order in at least 2 weeks in advance. We haven't booked anything for summer or fall... The good thing about having Juan's mom as a boss is that since this is a side business for her she doesn't mind that we're not too busy. I truly suck at being a salesperson because I'm not agressive or pushy. I present what we have to offer and if you're not interested, Good Bye! LOL. I know, I suck. But oh well. What interests me is the actual planning and executing of something... TracyKS - I can't believe you liked book 3 so much! I don't know why I couldn't get into it like the other ones. Now I'm gonna have to re-visit it and see if I just missed something, LOL. Hey, has anyone read The Shack? It's pretty good. It's basically about finding God again after feeling like he's abandoned you. Didn't think I would relate to it but it does a really good job of weaving this story and actually using the story to explain some of life's hard questions. I mean, it's not trying to be the bible but just trying to tell you the basics of what God and religion are all about. Like I said, it's pretty good. I had just checked it out from the library but I think I'm going to go buy it because I want to re-read it a few more times just so that some of it sticks with me for my daily life... Everyone keeps talking about this gosh darn Ham and Cheese soup that I'm gonna have to go and get some stuff to make it. I don't really like cheese all that much so that's why it doesn't sound too appetizing. When i picture it in my head I just picture dipping my spoon into a bowl of queso, you know like for chips? Is that how it is? With bits of ham in it?

Judy - I love soy nuts! I never thought to put them in my tuna salad... That's an awesome idea. They have lots of protein...

Judy - that Terra bike looks awesome! I would feel so weird trying to ride it. I'm gonna see if anyone here in town carries them so I can try it out... Laura - I meant to comment earlier on your nursery. IT LOOKS AWESOME! You did such a good job with it! That soft baby blue is so precious... Can't wait to see the furniture and the crib all done up! I'm so excited!

We woke up and my room was so bright it hurt to open our eyes! Janie - i'm trying to come up with something scandalous to tell you so that you can comment on it, LOL. Let me keep thinking... Pammy - sorry you had a fight with Suzie. I had a fight with Juan yesterday too. Must have been the gorgeous weather? It happens in the best of relationships... Hope you're feeling better today... JANIE - there, something scandolous for you. I had a fight with Juan yesterday! Over the sermon from church yesterday! Can you just believe it?? LOL... Had a wonderful weekend though. Friday we took Juan's mom and my mom out for dinner. Juan's mom is divorced and she was so happy to be out on a Friday night. She says most Fridays she's home by herself. I felt so bad but so happy that we did something with her. I told Juan that I was gonna try to include her in more of our girl time with my mom and my sisters. She has four sons and they're all busy with their own lives so she's alone alot. My dad was out of town so my mom was gonna be home alone too so we asked them both out with us. We had such a great time. These two women really really enjoy each others company. I'm so glad for that... Saturday morning I had appointments with brides. I've got alot of weddings booked for this spring and summer already. I'm glad we're so busy! Saturday night I went to an antique auction. I was looking to buy an antique Lane chest but it went way to high for my budget. Oh well maybe next time... Sunday was so gorgeous! We got up early, went to breakfast (ate way too much) and then went to church. Afterwards we went shopping for a bike for me. I am undecided about what I want. We went to three different stores and looked at countless bikes. I don't know what I need to be looking for? Just that it's comfortable for me? I want it just for riding around the neighborhood and for running to the corner store and the dry cleaners that are about 1/2 mile away.... okay, off to get my first big cup of water for the day. Trying to get 3 of these 32oz cups in me today. Cross your fingers...
