tracy - i'm getting a fill saturday. i don't care what she says, i'm getting something put in. i can eat bread, tortillas, pizza. I had SUSHI yesterday for godness sake.

Pammy - so sorry about your friend. so so sad. will keep her in my prayers. So i've been feeling blah this morning. Weather is yucky. I have a ton of work. Literally a ton. I can't seem to get started on it. I checked my email. Checked my facebook. Saw pics a friend sent me. Went and got coffee. Messed with my IPOD. Checked airfare for Juan's mom. So far have not looked at a single invoice. ARGH... I guess I better get to it...

Janie - thanks for clarifying that up, LOL! Did you end up getting your fill? I don't remember seeing that? But I read alot and most likely forgot! Judy - I know you're not here but you'll read this when you get back. I'm so sorry about what you had to go through right before ya'll left on your trip. I am learning alot about the impact of my decisions on my parents life by having women like ya'll in my life. I wish everyone was as lucky as me to have all different types of women as friends. Different ages, backgrounds, religions, political views, ect. I learn different things from each one of ya'll. I am blessed. LAURA! Carson is so close to getting here!! Omg, I am so excited for you. I can't wait!! I'm sure your dad won't miss it. He will move heaven and earth to be with you when you need him... Heather, we want bump pics!! How are you holding up with all that you have going on?? Did I read it right and you said that your Spring Break hasn't come yet? All of our kids around here got Spring Break already. Are ya'll making any plans to go anywhere? TracyK - I LOVE 4-wheeling. My dad has a friend who has a ranch out in Columbus. We try to get out there every once in awhile to ride the 4-wheelers and the dirt bikes... We always have a blast! I'm glad you're feeling better. You sounded way down a few pages ago... TracyKs - I'm glad you're posting again. Hope everything is well with you. We miss you! Michelle - sounds like you had a great Sunday. I wanted to stay in bed with my books yesterday but Juan pushed and cajoled me into getting up and out of the house... Terry - wasn't it wonderful weather here this weekend? Did you know that the Bayou Arts festival was going on? I found out about it too late on Sunday. Do you ever go to I-Fest? It features Ireland this year! Fun! If you go let me know so we can meet up and wander around together for awhile... Jenn - you're doing such an awesome job with the upgrades to your house. Man, I wish I had half of your enthusiasm for that sort of thing. Did you mention you were trying to stay at your current position full time? Do you know anything about that yet?? KAT! Hello girlies!!! OMG, I'm glad to be back on. I have so so many pages to catch up on!! So I hope everyone is doing ok and nothing major has happened while I was absent. I pretty much filled ya'll in on my vacation but yes, we have such a wonderful time. It is trully like paradise there and we relaxed and pretty much did nothing the entire time. The days go by so slowly there, it's absolutely wonderful. We would get up in the mornings around 8ish and put on a bathing suit and a cover up and flip flops and wander down to breakfast. Huge breakfast buffett spread with the freshest fruit imaginable. They would whip up whatever type of juice you were in the mood for. We would take our plates and sit out on the balcony overlooking the ocean and just eat leisurely. Then we would wander down to the pool or to the beach and take a long nap. Would wake up a few hours later and ask the pool guy to bring us pina coladas and margaritas and that would pretty much set the tone for the rest of the day. We would eat lunch either by the pool, on the beach or we would hop on a little boat and they would take us to a little town over and we would eat on the beach there... The freshest seafood you can imagine. That's mostly what we ate there the whole time. Fresh seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables. But I think the amount of alcohol we consumed pretty much negated any of the good benefits that we got from all that healthy food, LOL! It was pina coladas, margaritas, rum punch. We would eat, drink, nap, and then do it all over again. I really really wish we could all go down there. It's absolutely amazing and it does help just de-stress you and just forget about the rest of the world even if it's just for a few days. It makes you come home refreshed and able to cope with every day life just a little bit better. This little high will last me just enough to get me to my next vacation, LOL... So I ended up getting my laptop back on friday but something else is wrong with it now. Juan went to use it on saturday night and all of a sudden it blacked out on him. I think that we're gonna have to suck it up and just buy a new one. Good thing they're not too expensive right now. So if anyone sees a good deal please let me know! Weekend was so beautiful here in Houston! We did a Theology seminar at church on Saturday and it lasted from 8am to 8pm so we missed that whole day but Sunday we made the best of it. We got up early, went to breakfast, went to church, hit the German Festival for a few hours, then took our bikes and went to the park, then had dinner at an outdoor cafe. We got home pretty early but we were pooped so we went straight to bed. I read for a few hours in bed and finally dozed off around 11pm. My boss is out of town all this week so things will be quiet around here!! YAY YAY YAY i'm gonna go try to catch up on the posts now!!

what a day ive had. im just now getting to bed and ive been up since 5am. tonights wedding was a success. just a few hiccups but nothing too bad. came home around eleven and started packing and cleaning. i cant leave my house messy, lol. thank you for the message janie. my phone ran out of battery early in the day because i forgot to charge it last night, so i didnt get it until i got home late tonight. ok, well im gonna hit the hay now. just wanted to pop in and say bye! talk to yall next monday!!!!!

No, i haven't joined twitter. i've heard about it but never been. i've got enough stuff that i check everyday. here, facebook, two email accounts. i hardly have time as it is...

Terry - where are you getting your forecast from?? Weather.com says 70% chance of rain on friday and 50% on saturday. I don't care about the cold... The saturday bride just called me in a tiff wanting to know why we're making her pay to get her own tent. She said I never told her that she had to pay. HELLO, it's in your contract mam. Besides, why in the hell would we pay for a $600 tent and I'm only charging you $500. I'm supposed to freaking lose money to host your event?? People are dumbasses. seriously. I'm so stressed with her, if you can't tell. I'm so f'ing glad that I won't be there for her wedding on saturday or else i would give her a piece of my mind. Pammy - I haven't gone anywhere! I was away on a church retreat for two weekends last month, maybe that's what you're thinking about?? Saturday we leave Houston at 11am and arrive in Isla Navidad at around 2pm. When you walk through the door of the hotel they greet you with a ice cold hand towel and a fruit drink made with the fruit that's in season. I am keeping my mind focused on that thruout this whole ordeal.

yeah, i don't know either. i like all the planning stuff. like the picking out colors and figuring out where everything is supposed to go. love that part. but then when hiccups arise, not such a happy camper... and yes, i think it's crazy to plan an outdoor wedding in here in the south where the weather can turn at the blink of an eye. but the grounds really are beautiful and magical and romantic and it just calls for weddings and girls are just drawn to it like moths...

Saturday cannot get here soon enough. I am so stressed right now! I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I don't have enough hours in the day, i'm staying up till 2am most nights. Argggghhhhh.... I've got two weddings scheduled for this weekend. One for Friday and one for Saturday. It's gonna rain both days. We're strictly an outdoors facility so it's up to the brides to get tents but they're both freaking out about it. Hello, you knew that it might rain! I told them that when they booked for March. And where we park the cars is a grassy lot and now Juan's mom is freaking out about all the guests parking in the grassy lot and having to traipse through mud to get to the house. Again, if you know you are coming to an OUTDOOR wedding and it's pouring cats and dogs outside do you wear your stillettos? I would go with no. And then we've got two rehearsals tomorrow and Juan's mom's birthday dinner at my house. Now I know that the rehearsals are going to run over just because it's going to be pouring outside and I'm gonna have people waiting for me at home.... So that's me right now. I am seriously stressed. On saturday, as soon as we board the plane, I am having a bloody mary. I have two drink coupons from Continental and I'm gonna use them both on the flight there....

Juan is barely now struggling with his weight. He's turning 32 in a few months. In the past he would always drop any extra pounds in no time. He would exercise a little bit more and boom, back down to a size 32. Now he's struggling... He can't seem to lose these extra 15 pounds he picked up during the winter. He's very depressed about it... To me it's nothing, he just has a little pooch on his tummy but he says he doesn't feel right. He's very lethargic and he feels heavy and like he doesn't want to do anything. He says he's never felt like that before. HELLO, welcome to my world...

Heather - I love those type of vacations but we don't take them very often. I usally go with my whole family on vacation and my sisters are not the camping type, LOL... What a wonderful weekend, but no rain. Was really hoping for some. We have two weddings scheduled for the end of the week and I hope it doesn't rain then. Terry - where is the flea market that you go to? We used to go to one on airline but that area has gotten really bad so haven't been in awhile. But I love it and I miss it! Super busy week at work. I was here at 6am this morning, which was actually 5am! I gotta get everything in order before I leave Friday. I DO NOT want to get calls while I'm relaxing in Mexico...

Oh and I found out that Josh Turner (another favorite) will be here playing next Saturday night. We will be on our way to Mexico. Waaahhhhhh....

Yes, THE REBA. We love her too. My favorite favorites of all time to listen to is Reba, Garth Brooks, and Randy Travis. I can listen and sing along to all their songs all the live long day. Me and my mom both. That sucks about your customer. I would be super pissed if that happened to me. They have breastfeeding class! really?? i didn't know that. what do they teach you, where the baby goes? LOL

Heather, hate when that happens. And the worst is when my guests are here and I'm stuck in the kitchen while they're all laughing and having fun! I should always have stuff in the freezer to make quick but i never learn.... TFGI girls!! I'm counting down to 5pm... Pretty laid back weekend coming up but next week will be a hairy one... We've got a Friday night wedding, a Saturday night wedding so that means two rehearsals on Thursday. Wednesday night is Reba at the Rodeo and Tuesday night I have my bible study. That leaves Monday for packing! I haven't bought a single thing for my trip but I don't think I'll be taking much. Short summer dresses and sandals and that's about it. I'll be in my bathing suit pretty much the whole time... well i need to get to work or i'll have to come in on saturday! be back later...

I was having issues earlier too. I had written but when I went to post it just froze and got stuck... Ditto with breakfast Heather. It totally sets my mind for how the rest of the day is to go... Right now it's been 80% bad and 20% good, sigh... I was gonna go get a fill this weekend but Juan asked me to hold off until after vacation. We want to make sure that we won't be short of money for next month because he won't be working for 10 days while we're gone... He unfortunately does not have paid vacations... It's so nice here today! Sunny and warm. I'm wearing a summer dress with a light cardigan and my sandals. I'm so ready for summer....

I'm gonna book my ticket as soon as I get back from my other vacation at the end of March...

Good morning girls! How was everyones weekend?? Busy busy like always for me... Friday I had friends and family over for dinner. That was an awesome night. My seafood soup turned out so good. As good as a Mediterrenean one I tasted once. I love love having people over. I wish my house was always full of people! Saturday we had tickets to the BBQ cookoff so we headed over there early so we could enjoy the day. It was so cold we were miserable most of the day. We tried to stay inside the tents most of the time. We finally called it a night around 9pm and it took us almost 2 hours to get home. You have to wait in line to get on a bus that takes you to a parking lot where you left your car. It's controlled chaos. Sunday we went to church, then lunch at Juan's mom's house and then we went to the movies. We saw The Reader with Kate Winslet. It was a good movie! Has anyone seen it?? Gorgeous day here today but it's a little chilly... I got here so late this morning because I didn't want to get out of bed! Oh, speaking of bed, I did end up getting my mom's bed. She guilted me into taking it. So tonight is our last night in our cozy cramped Queen bed. Oh well, I get new bedroom furniture now. That's a plus! I've been wanting new furniture for about a year now but since there is nothing wrong with our set Juan would always shoot down that idea quick, LOL... Okay, i'm gonna catch up on posts now....
