good morning girlies. super busy weekend for me and I'm super exhausted. This month will just be like that for me... Friday I got off of work so late and then I still had to work Saturday in order to finish. Ugh. Then after work we hit two graduation parties. Sunday we had church then I cleaned the house up a little and did some laundry. Then we weeded the flower beds and then contemplated making another bed in the backyard. My backyard is shaped funny so I can't figure out what to do back there... I wonder if a landscaper would charge an arm and a leg in order to design our backyard landscaping for us?? I don't mind doing the work to get it there but I just can't come up with anything... YAY Heather!! I can't believe I missed it! Well, congratulations and I just loved your pics and I can't believe you posted on the way to the hospital and then almost as soon as you gave birth!! We love you so much!! Janey - I hope your sniffles feel better. Did you end up going to the clinic? Terry - hannah is gorgeous!! Looks just like her mama! love love love the shoes but could never walk more than two steps in them, LOL. Tracy - glad you had so much fun at the zoo! I haven't been in 10+ years. Macy looked too cute in her yellow dress! Laura - YUM! Your wedding cake sounds amazing! And that sounds like a good tradition to have. Special cake every year, yay! Maybe if you tell Russell that instead of a present all you want is cake, LOL?? Gahhh, I'm being called away again. We've got a huge meeting with the bank this morning at 9am, which is what all the work I did last week was for... I'll be back girlies...

I snore like a trucker too, LOL. It probably has something to do with the extra 75 lbs I'm carrying, no? The driving arrangements look good to me... Judy - I don't make very spicy mexican food. I'll make sure it's mild enough for everyone to eat!

Three teams, three nights sounds fun! And I agree on a free for all breakfast and lunch. Everyone has different restriction levels during the day...

Pam - is jenny still on the fence about moving or did you manage to convince her to wait?? Tracy - YUUUMMMM, enchiladas sounds so good. I'm starving again. Tomorrow I need to make sure I pack more stuff to eat... I'm gonna cook as soon as I get home so I can make sure that I don't graze on crap...

Finished my lunch about half an hour ago. Working on my second glass of water. Want a cupcake so bad! Cupcake and milk! I didn't have my yogurt this morning so I might just have that instead, sigh...

pam - is that the one with sanjaia? ugh, he gets on my biggest nerve... Heather - how you feeling?? Baby yet? I meant to comment on your post yesterday but I was just brain dead. You said you were having some bad feelings because you might have to get induced and have a C-section instead of letting it fly naturally?? Aww heather, I'm not a mom but I know that you shouldn't feel guilty for things you can't control... Whatever way she comes out you'll still be mama to her and that's all that matters... Judy - my babies LOVE sharing my ice cream pops with me... They don't wait until I'm done. Usually they're on my lap and they take bites of it while it's in my hand... They don't lick they bite chuncks off of it, LOL... TracyK - your Macy looks so cute!! She's a big girl now! Busy day as always. Yesterday I did good with my eating: B-Low fat yogurt with 1/2 cup granola L-6 triscuits, 2 slices of turkey, 1 slice of pepper jack cheese D- One chile relleno stuffed with white cheese and shrimp and baked in the oven. Then we had after dinner coffee and I shared a cup with Juan and I had two butter cookies. Drank about 6 glasses of water. Today is the exact same for breakfast and lunch but for dinner I'm gonna make pork chops!

We could do margaritas on the rocks and then do pineapple juice and malibu rum. That way we don't need a blender... What do you think?? And yes, Terry, let's me and you do Mexican night. Some really good guacamole and some carne asada tostadas? Do they have a grill?

laura - post pics of your ring, i'd love to see it! we gave my mom a ring for mother's day and juan's mom got some earrings. they both loved them... janey - sorry about your spreadsheet... that sucks big time... pammy - headache, so no lascas?? he he he. I wouldn't miss it if i were you... can you tell busy with boring work??? ugh, i can't stand this right now...

way to go tracy! I haven't had excess sugar today other than what was in my yogurt! Just got back from lunch. I was so busy I went so late... I had triscuits with turkey slices and a slice of pepper jack cheese. Also this morning I made 4 cups of green tea and i stuck them in the fridge. I've had two cups over ice already. No sugar. I have to suck them down with a straw because it's not my favorite but hey, at least i'm getting them in my body. I read in one of Michelle's fancy granola magazines that green tea is a super food. Helps your metabolism, your skin, helps you lose weight, on and on...

LOL, jane. Juan's tummy is made of iron. He's eaten stuff with fuzz on it before and nothing's ever made him sick... I know, gross!

pam - i forgot i was gonna borrow a book from you yesterday! I would have finished reading it by the time I got home after spending all day at the airport, LOL It's 11am and I'm barely eating something for breakfast. Pam's already had her lunch! I'm all in for this -5. I'm back to hating myself in pictures and that's not a good thing... I'm having low fat yogurt with granola. For lunch I'm gonna go get me a big ol salad with grilled chicken on top. I had one at the pool at the hotel and I can't get it out of my head, it was so yummy... Tonight I have one wedding appointment with a girl that is getting married next month and then I'm taking my bike out and riding. No more slothiness!!

Hi everyone!! Yes, I finally made it home. Just about an hour before Michelle did, I think. I missed my connecting flight because the plane out of Palm Springs left late because of technical difficulties. Then the plane that was supposed to leave out of DFW was having difficulties too so we left late from there. I was so happy when I finally saw my honey. He smelled so so good and yummy! And he was so surprised that I brought him In and Out! They held up fantastically and he ate one sitting in the pickup lot at the airport, LOL. The other two he waited until we got home and I warmed them up in the oven for him... My babies missed me so much and couldn't stop licking me when I got home. I had so much fun in Palm Springs and Pam and Susanne were such gracious hosts. I'm already making plans so I can see them soon :frown: Michelle my belle filled you in on all the goings on so I won't regale you with that again. Our trip home was a little bit more subdued. We both were thinking about what our to-do list was going to be like and were sad about leaving pam behind... I'm at work this morning with piles of stuff everywhere so I better get to work... I'll try to pop in and out...

awww that plan sounds wonderfully fantabulous...... and no BLEAH men talk. I agree! It's MY weekend and i'm gonna relax, darn it... I'm also checking my bag but just because i hate having to transfer all my bathroom essentials into those crappy little 2oz bottles. I can't stand that! And and I also predict that I will have no room for workout clothes... Lycra is so space consuming...

I knew that if I did something to his clothes it would be me trying to get the stains out later, LOL He called me this morning but I ignored his call. So he texted me how sorry he was and that he was being selfish. I'm gonna wait a little while longer before i text him back...

Good morning everyone! Laura - awww poor Carson and poor you! I'm so sorry his tummy isn't feeling good... Sending kisses... I'm so excited about tomorrow!! I haven't even begun to pack but it sounds like it's just gonna be shorts, LOL... Had a huge fight with Juan last night. I even made him sleep in the guest bedroom. It was just over him being inconsiderate about something and it escalated from there. I pointed out how I had done all the laundry and put it all away and hadn't asked for help and he then said that from now on I didn't have to do any of his clothes. I just blew up... I took all his clothes that I had just hung up and took them off the hangers and pulled everything out of the drawers and threw everything in a pile in the laundry room. Then I took the soup that I had just made for dinner and put some in a bowl for me and poured the rest down the drain so he wouldn't have any. I know, I'm such a child but I was just so freaking frustrated! And then for him to tell me that after everything that I do in our home... Just trying to get through today...

Hmmm, that is so interesting Laura... Pammy - just heard about Prop 8. So sad... Jane - yes, there was traffic coming into town from New Braunfels... It sucked! We were at a snails pace for about 80 miles...

MAE - WOW!!! 100 pounds is AWESOME!!! You are doing so so good! I hope to get there soon. Sorry you haven't found work yet. I was reading an article in this month's Reader's Digest that said that it's the best time to be an entrepeauner (sp?)! I don't remember what you did before but could you do it for yourself??? Kat - the wedding sounded amazing! I'm so glad it turned out well in the end for them. I'm so so glad that you are able to spend time with your new grand baby. Someone's prayers were answered, LOL! Jane - I would never recommend trading your car in. They will give you NOTHING for it, as you found out. If you really really want a new car I would consider selling it outside and then just go in the dealership with a good offer... Laura - no advice for a colicky baby but always so so happy to hear about our baby Carson! Terry - I'm glad your son is getting the help that he needs. That letting go step is, I think, the hardest but now that you've done it all you can do is pray that the program works for him. Pammy - Haven't popped onto Facebook yet to see your pics but I can't wait to see your face!!! Michelle - The soccer game sounded so exciting! Can't wait to see you on Friday! Suzie - You are so good for working out on Memorial Day!! All I did yesterday was eat and veg on the river! Jenn - Feels so good to enjoy the fruits of your labor! I love love that feeling of getting something done and then being able to sit back and just enjoy it.... TracyK - I LOVE CRAWFISH! I don't suck the heads out but I love the tails. I can go through 10 lbs in no time! I'm glad Macy had a good time! I love 4 wheeling! Well, we had a wonderful but tiring weekend! I didn't want to do this, be exhausted for the week. I've got so so so much to do these next three days but I wore myself out these past few days. Friday I worked like a busy bee to try to get as much accomplished here at work. And I did get alot done but I put off one thing for today and that's the thing that I got called about over the weekend. Figures... But anyhoo, so Friday night we went shopping then out to a late dinner and got home and watched a show. Saturday I got up early because my house looked like a tornado had hit it. I cleaned almost all morning. When Juan came home from work around 2ish we went to the nursery to see about getting some Hibiscus bushes. Then we got home and worked in the yard until 10pm. I was so exhausted from working on the house all day and then working in the yard all day. But we got so much accomplished. We mulched our beds, moved some oleanders from one spot to another, planted some bouganvilleas along my fence, planted two hibiscus bushes, weeded, fertilized, whew! Sunday was our big family BBQ so I went over to Juan's mom's house to help cook and set up right after church. We had an awesome time even though it rained. We put all the tables under the gazebo and ate there in the rain, LOL. After the rain stopped we all got in the pool for the rest of the night. She had heated it the night before so it was wonderful! We didn't get out until past midnight. Then yesterday we woke up early and left for New Braunfels. We lazyed around in the river most of the day and finally headed home around 6pm. IN TRAFFIC THE WHOLE WAY HOME. Ugh, we didn't get home until almost 11pm. By the time we got the car cleaned out, us in the shower, it was already past 1am. Needless to say I have a very busy week ahead of me since I'm short two days this week.... sorry about the novel. I just realized I've just been typing away for more than 20 min! Ugh, I really need to get to work....

Laura - I wasn't either. We stopped watching about two months ago?? Almost right at the beginning... Terry - I use HEB. I'm so not organized though. I should scour the papers or use coupons and stuff but I just go grocery shopping when we're out of stuff... I know, not smart. I need to organize myself better, my whole life actually! Kat - Yay on the day off and Boo on having to go to the hospital. That really really sucks. And then to go and be supportive just so that you can get blamed heaped on you?? I would definetly say something at the first peep out of someones mouth about it. SHE IS NOT FIVE. She was an adult when she decided to do this. No one is to blame. These things happen and you know that going in that there is that chance. Gawd I wish I could be there to have your back... Heather! How you doing?? How have you been feeling?? You've only got about two weeks left!

Hello Jane! Have fun Judy and Tracy! Guess what I'm doing this weekend?? NOTHING!! Yay!! Juan's mom is having a BBQ at her house on Sunday so I plan on relaxing in the pool and eating ribs and that's it... We're going toobing on Monday though!! So excited! Jenn - Sucks about the fight with your mom. Everyone is probably stressed out because of today. I wish I could help! I heard on the radio this morning that both Austin and San Antonio were listed in the top cities to live and work in! There are jobs here... Come on dowwwnnnnn.... Terry - how's your son doing? Any better?? Pammy - How many more days till school is over?? Are your kids getting bad? My best friend is having a rough week with her kids, LOL. They are antsy! Michelle - shake it off, don't let them get to you. In the long run if it doesn't directly affect your family then try not to let it get to you. I have to remind myself of that often but it works! I went grocery shopping last night and I couldn't believe how much I spent. And I didn't even come home with much. It's so expensive to try to eat right. A whole pizza at Sam's cost $8.00 but if I get salmon and some green beans for four it's almost $30 bucks. Fish is super expensive, lean meat, lean turkey, chicken breasts. Sooo expensive. The good turkey lunch meat, $8.00 a pound. Ohmygaw and this is just for two people... and the occasional little brothers and little sisters, LOL. They come over and they inhale any and all leftovers I might have in my fridge, LOL. My eyes are so swollen today, like I slept way too much but I didn't. I went to bed at around 11:30 and got up at 6:30ish. Normal times... I think I might need some coffee...

aww poor baby... did you stop breastfeeding him? did you ever, i dont remember anymore... terry - sorry about what you're going through with your son... my cousin, who is my parents god-daughter is going through alot of stuff right now. My parents want her to come live with them. I don't know what to do to prevent that. It would be a nightmare for them to have to deal with a child like this. They have not a clue. They raised 3 semi-good children, we didn't give them hardly any trouble other than usual teenage angst stuff... I AM STARVING TODAY... Ugh, I need to go get some turkey slices or something before I go and grab something bad for me to munch on... Why oh why do I always wait until my stomach is growling to eat??
