September memebers sounds good. My surgeon doesnt require all of that far as I know,I had to do ekg,chest exray ,blood work physc evaal, and nutrition class 6 months weight controlled drs visits,and gall bladder ultra sound on 9-21-2012 and to lose 20 lbs. Im calling my surgeons office on monday to make sure theres nothing I have forgotten because I dont want nothing to come in my way of getting my surgery,Hurry up sept.

Im glad were going to be going threw this at the same time ,its nice to know theres someone else going threw this who actually knows your going threw.I see my surgeon 9-19 and as right now I dont know of a pre op diet,but Im going to call my surgeons office on monday to make sure,I dont want nothing standing in my way of having this surgery.Do you have any suggests for the clear liquid diet AFTER surgery.thank you looking forward to getting to know you. I GOT MY SURGERY DATE,seemed like I would never get it. The surgeons office told me I had to have a ultra sound of my gall bladder,I I also was just wondering if anyone else had to do this.I need to get a list of things that I need for after I come home from the hospital,any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you SUSAN

My Drs office called today and my surgery is 9-24-2012.I was told I had to have a ultra sound of my gall bladder.Has anyone had to do this ,I was just wondering.Im nervous and excited at the same time it seemed like I would never get my surgery date.Im looking forward to meeting others that are having the bypass.Thanks everyone

hi everyone,Im new to posting but have been reading the post as I have been going threw the process,and now Im playing the waiting game,waiting on the surgeons office to call me with a surgery date,everyday that goes by I get more nervous about the surgery,well not the surgery itself,its after the surgery Im so afraid of failing ,I keep thinking what if I dont lose the weight.I just need support,and I have my hubbys but unless your going threw the same thing your really not going to be able to relate to what Im thinking or going threw.I would like to kmow others that are going threw the same thing .
