OK so I'm only 2 weeks post op tomorrow... I went to the doctor last Thursday I was 218 .....I'm still 218 ....when does the weight come off ...I'm so worried I did this for nothing ....is it gonna come off!!!????

I'm having a major issue eating I just don't feel like it ... but I'm thirsty as hell ....how did u guys get ur protein... and y does it hurt to eat right now ...even pureed foods

Could someone please give me the facts on smoking after surgery ...does it just reduce ur recover time....I'm curious ...cause I freaking picked up one today ...my surgery was 8-21-12

Hi everybody..I'm on day 8 of my liquid diet ...6 more days to go. ..my surgery is the 21st I'm excited yet petrified.. lol...and to top it off ..I start a new job on the 4th of Sept ..exactly 2 weeks after my surgery ....no looking forward to being sore and having to go to work lol

So.. i started my diet this week.. on tuesday.. and here it is i'm 5 days in.. 9 more to go.. and I cheated by having an italian sandwich...I feel bad... can someone tell me is this a bad thing?... I really need to stay on track but its so hard...any help or support would be appreciated..

You can do it.. i love food.. love to cook.. its a test for me .. but god is really helping me get thru this.. and the support from this forum.. good luck.. we don't have much time left till surgery.. keep me updated..

Ok.. so.. I'm on my liquid diet now.. not to bad so far... I started on this journey at 249lbs.. i'm down 16lbs to 233 today... thats great for me.. i'm getting more and more excited i only have 11 days till my surgery... I am proud of my will power so far.. and I just know i can do this.. i'm very thankful for all of you who have given me support and advice... Ive got my grocery list ready.. my list of things to purchase before surgery like my vitamins and gas x strips lol.. and i've got my "what i need to take to the hospital list" ready too.. I'm ready for this.. this is going to be a new chapter of my life.. Im hoping its a much better one.. a healthier one.. and i'm so thankful for the opportunity to "start again"... its going to be a learning process.. guess its a good thing that I like to learn new things..

Just updating..liquid diet is going great.. only thing i had a problem with ... was the optifast chicken soup.. tasted like complete vomit.. sorry... but they let me exchange it when i called and told them there was no way i could even think of eating another bite... 12 days to go and counting.. surgical clearance appt was today too.. everything went great.. to excited..
