  1. I really need to get started again. Got to week 3 and my schedule got crazy and didn't make time to do it. I was really starting to like running. Gotta make a point to do it.

    Potassium

I drink Vitamin Water Zero "Revive" flavor. It has 880mg of potassium per bottle. It's the only flavor I've found with a significant amount of potassium in it.

    Full

As far as eating out I usually order soup. If its just my family, my husband orders his meal and I order soup or salad. He has some (most) of my salad and I eat mostly whatever protein he ordered with a little of my salad. I eat such a small amount he doesn't mind sharing.

    Eggs

I'm with you mini me. I was sleeved 2/27 and still have some issues with eggs. I've tried adding milk, water, different cheeses. An egg scrambled with American cheese is the easiest but I still can't eat the whole egg. Weird because I can eat salad, steak, basically anything I want. But not a darn egg :/
  5. Thanks Fiddle and aroundhky. This is the information I've been looking for. Very well written as usual Fiddle.
  6. Jillian Michaels Shred. It's 20-30 mins depending on the level. Great workout.
  7. Did some shopping today and bought a shirt - size "large" and a 2 pairs of scrub pants size "large". I haven't worn a large anything without some x's in front of it for many years! Made my day.

    bruised vertebrea

A bruise is a bruise is a bruise. A collection of blood from broken vessels. Although there isn't a lot you can do, try alternating heat and cold, 20 mins at a time several times a day. A true "bone bruise" can take up to a couple months to heal. If its just the tissue around the vertebrae itself 1-2 weeks and you should feel better. Hope you feel better soon.

    best green superfood powder?

Good questions Globetrotter. I was wondering the same things.
  10. I'm an ER RN. My doc had me on a 20lbs lifting restriction for 6 weeks and hospital policy is no lifting restrictions in the ER so I was out for 6 weeks on FMLA.

    Lifting partner in NC foothills?

I live in the Concord area (and I'm a girl) so no help to you but there was someone on the boards from Moorseville who lifted. Haven't seen a post in a couple months and can't remember their name. Really no help at all

    best green superfood powder?

Got my sample pack of Amazing grass today and jut tried the original. I mixed it in grape juice (was afraid to try it in just water and figured grape juice has the strongest flavor I could think of) and it was tolerable. Ill try one of the flavors tomorrow.

    VSG Urban Legends

If you don't follow the plan every single day for the rest of your life, cheat just on time you will spontaneously combust ????
  14. And know if they cover plastics?
  15. How long did it take you to get into 14s? I started in 2xl, they are getting loose so probably in an xl now.
  16. For those of you that expresses your opinions about whether or not she should drink alcohol please re read her question. She was asking for advice as to WHAT to drink, not IF she should drink. Ladies lets not be the catty girls in the middle school hallways, we're adults now To the OP I would try Skinny Girl Vodka and Water or crystal light.
  17. I'm 7 weeks PO. My work scrubs are loose, they were pretty tight before because I refused to go up a size. My rings can spin on my fingers. I can shave all of my "parts". I feel so much better about myself already!

    exercise!

I would do crunches yet. You have inter sutures and can cause problems. Call your doc and see what he says.

    NSAIDS

I have Crohns Disease and take Humira. I was on Remicade before but with insurance changes Humira is much cheaper for me. Centocor (maker of Remicade) have many programs available to help financially. All of the biologic agents do. Just get with your MD and they can give you the contact packet. My ins copay for humira is $150 but with the co pay assist card I pay $5 per month. Not too bad and I get my quality of life back.

Superman for sure. Have you seen what those eyes can do? And the cape? Now the tights would have to go, but leave the cape. And he's nicely in shape - not too big.
