  1. Hi, I was sleeved August 17th!

    1. For Breakfast I'll have 1 apple with some Peanut Butter or egg and sausage. lunch is either a 3 inch subway (which I can't finish) if I am on the go or if I had time to prep meal I will have chicken or tilapia or salad. dinner is usually another type of chicken, I rarely eat red meat. I'll have Snacks like jicama, cucumbers or nut bar.

    2. I just started a Fit Camp in the park and I love it. I have a lot more energy and have not experience any pain or nausea

    3. I am down 85 lbs :)

    Thank you!! I am so excited and nervous that I can't sleep. It's 2am and I am wide awake.


  3. Day 9 of my pre-op and I've lost 10lbs so far!!! I am feeling great and I am so grateful to have such great parents and co-workers that are being supportive. I get surgery this Friday and I can't wait. I am so excited to have found this website so that we can share this experience together. Good luck to all you August sleevers!!


  4. This pre-op diet is for our own good so that our liver can shrink. My doctor told me our liver sits on top of our stomach so if we don't do the pre-op then the doctor is too focused on lifting the liver in order to get to the stomach and now doesn't have all his attention on the stomach. He said the instruments they use are small and they can poke the liver if its too heavy to lift. Knowing this information, I started my pre-op diet 2 days before I was supposed to. Either way, you can always start fresh on your next meal. Good luck!
