You can say that now , so did I , until a couple of years ago.... first it was high blood pressure , then Gerd , next came high cholesterol and finally pre diabetes reared its ugly head. I thought if I just diet some more.... exercise more I can lose the weight and make it go away.... but , that didn't happen... so now here I sit , pre op like you waiting for my surgery date to get here... I'll be the first to admit that I'm terrified of the unknown and all the what ifs that "could" happen, but after learning that I have a grandchild on the way and realizing that I have so much life that I want to live I decided to "cowboy up" and continue on with my journey. Life is a journey, not a destination... each minute is a precious gift from God.... remember it's okay to have fear and also remember that God is always with you and will always protect you

Hello and congratulations on getting your date ! I'm preop as well surgery set for November 30th in Mexico.

My passport came in last week.... my husband and I expedited ours, my surgery was originally set for this Friday but had to push it back

That's wonderful.... hope things work out the way you want them too! Good luck and hope you feel better soon. I'm battling things on my end as well.... hoshimoto's is kicking my butt, hopefully new meds will get it in check

Sorry to hear that you have been left out in the cold so to speak , I haven't had my surgery yet but thought I would let you know that Dr. Alvarez has a great book that he wrote on what to be consuming after sleeve surgery.. go to www.endobariatrics.com..... I have found it very intriguing.... hope this helps

I know the feeling... I was set for October 5th and had to move mine back to November 30th due to health issues. Good thing is that it's still gonna happen for the both of us... gives more time to be prepared. Good luck
