  1. It has been one month and one week since my surgery and I have lost 22 lbs. I am 26 lbs from my doctor's goal and 51 lbs from my goal. Before surgery I was type 2 diabetic on metformin and fast acting insulin, just like my father and sister. My blood sugar has been at normal levels since my surgery! I can't wait to get my A1C results at my next check-up with my PCP!!! It feels so great to know I will never have to worry about getting a band adjustment again!!! And, it feels so good to know I will keep the weight off this time!!!!!
  2. I can only tolerate Spiru-Tein banana
  3. The same people, thinking they are perfect.
  4. I just took my antidepressant which makes me very nauseous. I chewed on a piece of sugar free peppermint gum and it subsided. Thank you for the advice.
  5. I was eating 500-600 calories but I stopped losing weight. I get 800-1000 now and i am losing 1lb per day.
  6. Day 18 for me and haven't lost anything since last week
  7. My surgery was on 7/27 and I was back to work on 8/6
  8. I am 17 days post op and have lost 15 lbs. I am very frustrated!
  9. I had my surgery on 7/27. I weighed 214 and now I am at 199. I'm very frustrated because I am counting my calories on my fitness pal. The first week after surgery, I was at 200-300 calories per day. Now I'm getting 500 calories per day or less. I feel like I should be losing more weight.
  10. Omg, I took my antidepressant and metformin for the first time since surgery and I feel so so so so sick!!!!
  11. Haha! Love it :-) very smart.
  12. I got very nauseous taking the chewable multi vitamin from bariatric advantage. I am going to try and take it at night. But I agree, taking it twice per day doesn't seem possible because it makes me so sick.
  13. How are you doing? I pray that the leak is repaired and you are healing!
  14. I am so glad to hear that you are okay! I'm praying that you get to go home tomorrow. Do they know what caused the leak?
