This time, 9 months ago today, I was getting ready to change my life around forever. For my children, for my husband, for my family, and for myself. I never thought that less than a year later I would be 2 pounds away from my goal! I have lost 118 pounds and have gained soooo much more from this journey! I am beyond blessed & thankful!

Today I am 8 months post op & I am down 110 pounds! I feel amazing & as time goes by I feel more and more thankful & blessed that I was given a second chance to live a healthy life!

I am 7 months post op and have NEVER had that problem nor have I met anyone that has had that however everyone & and their progress & recovery is different! Stay positive and know you can do this! Listen to the guidelines your surgeon gives you post op! Good luck!

Don't be worried! Everyones progress & recovery is different! Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Rest, take your pain meds, and make sure your staying hydrated. And of course, when in doubt call your surgeon! Stay positive! You can do this! -
Hair loss...when do you just cut it off?

Trust me... the hair loss part sucks!!! I feel like 5 weeks is early but everyone is different. Are you dropping weight fast? I lost A LOT of hair between 3 & 5 months post op. Luckily it stopped and has been growing back. I would be in tears in the shower! I also got Bosley hair restoration treatments which is shampoo conditioner and a treatment which helped also. How much Biotin are you taking? I take 10,000mcg a day. It is completely common and just know it will stop and grow back! Hang in there!! It will get better I promise! -

32lbs down!!!! -
1 month post-op today & have lost 32lbs so far!!! I can't believe that it has been one month already! I am feeling wonderful & am loving feeling so free from food! I am starting to recognize the girl in the mirror again!! What an amazing feeling!!!!
