Hope everyone is doing well. I'm two days post op now and feeling good. My surgery was Thursday at 11:30 I left the hospital about 5. Yesterday I slept most if the day just taking in water as I felt nauseous. After getting medicine for nausea I feel so much better today. I have gotten in an Optifast and some chicken broth. I have pain when getting from sitting other than that the pain is not bad at a all. I have not taken pain meds since last night. So just wanted to update so new people heading in to surgery will know its not bad at all. The way I feel now I feel I'll be fine to go work on Monday;) Good luck banders hope your surgery goes well!

I'm tomorrow too! I'm calm now ill probably get nervous in the am. My surgery is 11;30 I have to be there at 9:30. Less than 24 hrs we join the banded family! Woohoo

Hang in if you follow it to a T you will lose. I lost a bunch of water weight in the first few days. I swear I peed every 20 minutes all night and day lol I see a lot of people have liquid and food mine was all liquid 5 Optifast a day and the only other thing was water (lots) and I have a sugar free Popsicle at night. It's not going to be easy for any of us but there are a tremendous amount of success stories on here to keep motivated by;). Lets become one! Less than 40 hours away for me now

I'm on Optifast they were not bad at all! Pre mixed in a juice box type container great grab n go;)

Just give it a couple days I promise it does get better! it's the beginning of the rest of your new life!

After a couple days. The first few your body is screaming for sugar and carbs it does get better! I'm on day 18 of mine lost 21lbs and surgery is in 3 days!! Did all my pre op stuff today now I just show up Thursday for this life changing event;) Good luck everyone!

. The first couple days are hard as your body is screaming for sugar and carbs etc. everyday gets easier. I'm on day 15 and honestly don't feel hunger at all. I have one more week!!!

Good luck everyone! It will be good to post ASAP so we know how everyone did and those after us will know how we did and hopefully it will ease some minds. I'm totally ready down 16lbs so far in 13 days on my preop liquid Optifast diet and this coming Monday I do my preop and weigh in! I'm ready;)

So far looks as I am first for October. I'll try to post ASAP after so you know how it's going. From what I have read ill be fine except for some gas pains ill need to walk off. I'm totally excited!!! Good luck everyone !

Lady I got them thru my surgeons office they require 2-3 week liquid diet preop. They cost $100 a week but its all you will for the week all meals son in that sense the $ is reasonable.
