  1. July 20th, down 24 lbs. I got real discouraged tonight when trying to find. Loathes to wear tomorrow. I figured over 20 lbs. I could certainly wear my 18's and not the 20's. Joke on me... Got mad, threw a fit in the closet, cried a little and am now over it. Guess I will try again in another 10 lbs. just hope I don't hit a stall at this point. I can only imagine what that would be like for my husband...lol
  2. Am having a hard time getting Ll the required water in. With non drinking 39 minutes before or after eating ( and eating something 6 times a day) I can't find the time to get it all in. I am still sipping, but not itsy sips. I go back to work in a week (teacher) and my principal has just enforced a rule of no drinks on desk, including water. How will I ever be able to do this?
  3. I am having the same issue. I am 3 weeks post op and have lost 23 lbs. everyone says how THIN my face is, but indon't see it. Even in pictures. I think I am so used to seeing my self with such a full face that, that is all I see now I have an appointment with my therapist next week, so I am hoping that will help. Good luck to you!

I threw up a little bit(sorta a yellowish color). And it killed my throat. Anyoene else had anything possible. I am still coughing very deeply and it hurts.
  6. Have heard here shakes can taste pretty good. Anyone got any info on them?
  7. I was sleeved on the 20th and am having similar stuff. I feel like I could eat a meal like before. I had heard that one egg would fill me up, but it doesn't feel like it does. I also burp ALOT after I eat. I am scared I will let my head win, and over eat...
  8. Real oatmeal and scrambled eggs!
  9. I had 2 days liquids, then 21 days of soft foods. I am on day 8 and doing good. Kinda tired of oatmeal and eggs...lol
  10. My info got submitted on a Monday and they called Tuesday and said I was approved! Super fast!
  11. I was sleeved on July 20th and am very thankful for it. I just hate how my stomach still feels and looks so bloated. I have only lost 9 lbs. since surgery. I kinda thought it wouldbe more than that since all I am eating is protein shakes and eggs ( under 500 calories a day). I have started doing some light walking. I hope this is just me being impatient. Any words of wisdom to make me feel better would be great! I would love to hear your post op stories for the first few weeks.
  12. That is great! I know you must be so excited!
  13. Post op day 5 and nothing. I was getting sorta scared, but feel better now!
  14. I had my surgery on July 20th. Besides the obvious pain, I am having a hard time figuring out if I am "full". I am not eating a whole lot and have only lost 2 pounds since surgery. Sorta frustrated. Any feedback?
  15. Dd anything seem to help make it more tolerable?
  16. I had surgery on July 20th. I had to stay an extra night because I could not drink the fluids. My esophagus was having spasms to my new stomach. I am now home, but it still hurts so bad to swallow. Anyone experience this and how long did it last?
