Thanks for the tip. I will try that tomorrow cause you are right I grab a glass of tea first thing and drink 3 a day. Wonder if that would count as my Water intake. It is sugar free.< /p>

I needed the restriction to help with my appetite supression. I've lost 5lbs in 2 1/2 weeks. I have been walking too. I just need to get more Water in me than the 16 oz a day I drink. Any suggestions there?

Oh, my original weight was 250 before surgery.

@Chubsy....it varies, I lost 105 lbs in less than 2 years and surpassed my goal of 170. My downfall was not having adequate treatment while living over seas with my then active duty husband and had to have all of the Fluid removed. I am now getting my second fill and have regained 50 back. The most important thing is staying in touch with your doctor. I didn't do that.

Lori' date=' I live in arkansas my dr is dr lutrell. He has paper taped to his counter that lists prices for everything, it lists fills for patients that are not his. I don't know that particulars but it's worth checking into if you havnt already. He is a great doctor! Love him and his staff[/quote']I am in NW Arkansas. We have DR Roller but because he did not do my surgery he wanted $2500.00 up front to review my records with no guarantee he would accept me. My insurance wouldn't pay it. I work at the Sams Club Home Office now and even they don't pay.
Where is your doctor located? I would be willing to call. I drive to Indy on a Sunday, see my Dr for a band fill early on a Monday and drive straight back. Gas is $100 one way, hotel bill is $65 and my fill is $75.

I called my DR today and was told I definately need a fill. It's been 7 months since they put some Fluid in mine. 4 months prior to that it had all been removed. Even the reserve fluid. I developed acid reflux so severe my stomach around the band swelled closed. I have no insurance now that my husband is out of the military and no DR in Arkansas to help me so I have to save up money and drive to Indianapolis to do my fills. It is comforting to hear others struggle too.

I'm having the trouble focusing too. I was banded in Nov 2009 and lost 103 lbs. I stepped I'm the scales today and have now gained back 55 lbs. I know how you feel. I'm frustrated. I had my Fluid removed and when I finally had some put back in it wasn't even half what was removed so do not feel restriction at all.
