I'm struggling with the Protein since the beginning. I'm not a fan of Protein Shakes and just not very hungry. I'm only getting about 20-30g a day and I know
I need more. Any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated!

Hang in there everyone! As time passes it does get easier. I had the sleeve on a Wednesday afternoon and went back to work that next Monday and did just fine. Going back helped keep my mind off food and just let me get into a normal routine. Good luck!!

I also chose not to tell any friends or coworkers. It's been about 2 months and many people have commented and said I look like I'm losing weight. I just say oh thanks and change the subject. Just stay strong and remember the reasons why your doing what your doing.

I went with Dr. Barker after lots of research and did the sleeve on June 6. Today I hit 50lbs weight loss and have been extremely satisfied with him and his staff!!

Well I guess I will just keep going with the slow weight loss. I haven't lost any in about a week which has been somewhat discouraging. I work out at the gym 5 days a week and I am hardly eating because I am simply not hungry and forcing myself to eat is just uncomfortable. I am having trouble getting the required Protein in because I am not a fan of Protein Shakes but I will work on that and maybe that will help jumpstart me again.

I am about 8 weeks out and only down 36lbs. I feel like its going very slow. Is this normal?

Wow keep up the good work!! I totally know how you feel. I am down 54lbs and still wearing the same clothes albeit they are baggy. I can't buy new stuff right now either but this weeken I bought 2 new tops size Large and just couldn't believe a large fit just fine. Once I put on clothes that fit I felt so much better. I do think wearing your old clothes makes you see yourself as the old person. Try shopping cheap places or even resale shops for now. Best of luck![;)](https://s.bariatricpal.com/uploads/emoticons/default_wink.png)
