  6. First off I want to tell you how much I enjoy your writings. Every time I see your name in a response to someone's question, it's come on Jean tell them. This article hit really close to home. It's exactly why I decided on LBS. There isn't a minute in one day that I'm not in pain. Like you, obesity, fibromylasia(sp?), arthritis in both knees (need to be 60 for replacement, I'm 56), plus just had car accident that I can't heal from, even with months of therapy. I just pray LBS will give me my life back!! Thanks again for your great articles!
  7. If you want to send me PM wirh email, I'll scan all my info and send to you. I has all stages of diet & sample menus.
  8. Another thing is, are you drinking enough water? Dehydration symptoms are weakness & fatigue. Also my nutritionist said "Gummy Vitamins do not have all the nutrients LBers need".
  9. Anothet thing is, are you drinking enough water? Dehydration symptoms are weekness& fatigue. Also my nutritionist said "Gummy Vitamins do not have all the nutrients LBers need".
  10. Congratulations! Get better soon! Don't worry about spelling, only a few think it's their job to monitor. That's not what we're here for. It's support!
  11. That was awesome! Thanks for sharing!
  12. I'm waiting for double knee replacement. Dr. doesn't want to do it until on 60. That's why I'm getting banded. Hopefully getting weight off will help. Anywho, I'm the queen of crunch, but I have been told to exercise my knees and water aerobic's is the best. Still you need to see an orthopedic Dr. Good luck!
  13. Every surgery is different, but being it's outpatient seems to say it all.
  14. I'm really sorry for you. I have Aetna and so far no complaints. Both my daughters have B/C B/S through husbands employers. One daughter has a child with cerebral palsy and insurance sucks. She has to fight for everything. Good Luck & don't give up, fight!
  15. PS. Also recommend it to bandies who have lost their way.
  16. I'm waiting to be banded in Sept. I have completed all insurance requirements. 1 more visit to PCP. I recently purchased the book "Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook for Dummies". I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone just getting started or thinking about WLS. It takes you through the whole journey from beginning to end. Good Luck!
  17. Super glad I never have had a drink with a meal!!!!! After banding should be a breeze.
  18. Not banded yet, but since my car (Eleanor) & motorcycle (Blu) have name's, why not?! I'll be thinking about it before I give birth to a band.
