You're not butting in, we are. I really don't know much about band erosion, but the statistic's are more in our favor not to have an erosion. You have to understand sometimes trolls come on this board with the thought on freaking people out, so don't believe everything you read. Sometimes it's just a mean spirit butthead. My best advice is to research everything you can, through the boards, books and talking with your surgeon. Your surgeon is the best person to get your info from, after all he's on your team to make this successful. You can also enter band erosion in the search engine and find out what everyone else is saying. I know there is a lot of ppl who have had there bands for many years. For me it was either the band or I was going to die from obesity. Good luck !

It's more complex than that... Wear jeans so next time I weigh in and it's cold the heavier clothes will already be accounted for? Or something light weight and worry about cold weather later? Oh the problems I have!
