I've been going to the driving range 2-3 times a week since about six weeks.
Sent from my mobile productivity killer.
Thanks. I just had my 6 week follow up with doc. on friday. He said it should be fine to play, but if there is any discomfort to stop. I think i'll be fine.

None of the links are working on my phone or my work desktop. Is it just me?
They wont work on mine either...

Thanks everyone.
I have my opp. tommorrow with Doc. that will be one of my first questions....
-
How long did anyone wait after surgery to start playing. I'm almost 6 weeks post op and have the itch to play. But i'm afraid the twisting motion of the mid section will aggrevate the incisions. Especially the one on the left side.

Just got the call from doctor Nick's office. I have to be at Presbetaryn Dallas at 6:00 am. on monday. Can't wait to see the new transformation over the next year or so that it will take too lose all this weight..... YEEEEEEAAAAA!!!!!

Dr Nick put me on 5 Protein Shakes a day and 5oz of meat and two cups of vegtibles at dinner time. or 1200 calories total. You have to watch the calories in the Protein Drinks. make sure they are low in sugar and carbs. I have to do this for 2 weeks pre op. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

yea i no what you mean. A good friend of mine has the band and is not doing his part in going back to the doc. to have it filled. his weight is coming off so slow. It's like REALLY. He's the one that talked me in to the sleeve.
-
Only you know if it was the right decision. All I can say is that it was (or will be) the right one for me. I know someone that went to Dr Nicholson and raves about him. http://www.nicholson...m/testimonials/ my friend is the third one down, Joseph. I hear that dr Nicholson is VERY good.
I no it's the right decision.... i'm just glad i'm doing the sleeve. I think it's a better choice over lap band.
