  1. OMG OMG, i hit 69 this morning!!! I haven't been in the 60,s for 20 years. I love my sleeve!
  2. I am having trouble replying to posts. It says its timed out so I cancel, then this morning when I've looked my last two replies are there. Anyone else had this trouble? Any suggestions? As an update, I am now at my docs goal of 70kgs 15 months after surgery and down a total of 37kgs. My goal is 68kg so not too far to go, but these last few are so hard. I am not as strict now with my treats so my weight has stabilised. I am starting my new job as Director of Sales at Marriott Gold Coast next Monday. It will involve a lot of travelling and entertaining, so I will have to be extra careful. If anyone is visiting the Coast I would love to meet up with you. Enjoy your weekend.
  3. Hi Lissa, are seriously going to dress up as a zombie???? I heard about that fun run this year from someone else on this thread. Good on you for doing something different.
  4. What a great result so far for both of you and i look forward to meeting you next time.
  5. You all look amazing. I wish i could have joined you. I will be in Sydney a lot next year, so I look forward to another opportunity.
  6. Hi Misty, that's good news. It is a pretty easy non invasive surgery these days, so all the best fir a quick and easy recovery.
  7. love the dress Lissa and you are looking so good
  8. I do get hunger but it takes very little to satisfy it, whereas in the past I would have eaten more. Sometimes it is difficult to determine if it's real hunger or head hunger.
  9. Congratulations. I've been wondering how you were getting on. Enjoy your break and at least it's warm weather that makes you want to drink.
  10. Good to hear you are on the road to recovery. I am sure the doctor and nurses have advised you to try and avoid vomiting if at all possible during this early period as you don't want to dislodge staples. I had a drain in for 3 days and am glad I did as I thunk my recovery was a lot better afterwards without all of that fluid in my stomach. i don't know why more doctors don't do it. Take it easy and enjoy the ride down.
  11. Kaz. Mine all happened fairly quickly once I made up my mind and I am so glad the waiting time did not drag on. For me it was the sooner the better and I am so glad I had this surgery.
  12. Welcome to Brisbane and all the very best to you both for tomorrow. If you need anything just let me know.
  13. Sorry Sue & Lissa, I won't be coming to Sydney now in November. I was stopping off on my way to Melbourne and that trip has been cancelled. Sue I will be traveling to Sydney regularly next year with my new job so look forward to meeting you early in the new year. I know you will both enjoy your catch up.
  14. I had it the day I got home after 3 days on clear fluids in hospital. No problem at all.
  15. I can't believe we will miss meeting you but I am sure we will do so on one of my future works trips to Sydney in the new year. Enjoy Vegas!
  16. Let's aim for Monday evening if that suits you and Lissa and hopefully others will be a available to join us.
