Can I have applesauce 4 days post op? I was also thinking about trying a scrambled egg for supper.

Did u have a catheter in after surgery? Maybe that made things uncomfy down there.

I weighed myself this morning and have already lost 10 lbs!! Of course my starting weight was 324 so you obviously tell nothing is gone. But I was excited to see it on the scale!!

I am feeling great!!! Sorry to have read you have had so many problems. I felt great as soon as I got back from surgery. The only thing that bothered me was my throat where they had put the breathing tube in.

Thank you guys!!! After all of these years it was a huge shock to see the scale go the other way!!!

Hi!! I was sleeved on September 12. I weighed at home the morning of my surgery and was 324, this is day 4 since surgery and I got on the the scale this morning and weighed 314!!! I was SHOCKED!!!

I got home from the hospital yesterday from being sleeved on Wednesday. My husband was cooking him and my daughter some ham and eggs. Omg!!! My stomach is growling!!! I didn't think I would feel hungry. *sad face*

I slept on my stomach in the hospital the night of surgery which was 9/12. That's the only way I can sleep.

I know what you mean! My sniffer seems to be working to well. Everytime my husband eats something I just want to rip it out of his hands. I am 3 days out and I had a little bit of cottage cheese and some tomato soup. It didnt bother me. Good luck to you!

I am 3 days out. I have been drinking lots of water, protein shake, some jello, tomato soup and pudding are what I have had today.

Yes. I am taking an acid reducer. I don't know what the deal is. But it sucks!!!!!

I slept on my belly the night after my surgery. That was the only way I could fall asleep. I'm doing great!!!

I am the 12th as well. There has been no pre op diet for me, just not to drink or eat anything after midnight the night before. I have to call tomorrow to even see what time my surgery is. They have you call between 3-4. I hope it is early because it takes me an hour and a half just to get to the hospital. I am nervous that I don't have to end up being cut open, other than that not scared at all. After 9 months of appointments I am soooo ready!!!! Good luck to you all!!!

Omg!!! I have a kidney stone also. My surgery is Wednesday and I don't even want to tell them about it because I have waited 9 months to get the sleeve. I don't know what to do either. Yikes

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone had failed on their pre op diet but still made it through surgery ok? And if they were still able to do it laparoscopically ?

I was not put on a pre op diet and I am reading some of these posts on here saying their surgeon didn't do surgery because of liver size. I am scared now. I am hoping I don't have that problem!!! Yikes

I have my sleeve done Wednesday the 12!!!! I am so excited! I weigh 327 lbs and cannot wait to start losing!!

I keep reading on this site about people on an all liquid pre-op diet. I am currently on a pre-op diet from my surgeon but it is not a liquid diet. I just have to get all of my protein in daily, cut out carbs and sugar.

I am so scared to take the smoking test before surgery where they test for the carbon monoxide test!! I don't know how long you have to be smoke free before you can pass, but I am nervous!!
