  1. I brown it with chopped up red, green and yellow bell peppers, a few fresh garlic cloves and chopped onions. I salt and pepper it too. Then I add about a half cup of brown rice and Water and let it cook until the rice is done. yum... You can add as much rice as you want, but i cut it down so I would get more protien in the meal and not carbs.


  2. NO!! Don't stress about this! Your body is getting used to this big change, if you think about it, you are taking in wayyyy less calories than the average person....you WILL lose weight! This happened to me also and happens to almost everyone! I was so depressed for awhile, felt like a failure! But remember your basics...get your fluids in, get your protiens in and the scale will start moving! Also whenever I eat more carbs, I tend to feel hungrier, so I just resigned myself to keep the protiens the main focus, maybe have just tastes of whatever carb I thought I wanted at the moment. You can and WILL do it!!
