  1. make sure that you are sipping your water constantly all day long. The other thing is your esophogus may be swollen if it doesn't get better go see your surgeon.
  2. Congratulations, welcome to the losers Bench!!
  3. For me it is actually the opposite. My skin looks clearer and fresher because I am eating so clean. Remember to moisturize, moisturize and moisturize!!
  4. You know that was my biggest worry too and I had no nausea at all. I had no pain or bad feeling in my stomach at all and still haven't.
  5. Congratulations to you. You inspire us all to know that we can do it too!!
  6. Well you just answered it, it's the vitamins. It could be the combo of vitamins you took also. Try taking with food or different times of the day. You might even need a different vitamin.
  7. The way I I heard it was the employees were given the option to take a pay cut to keep their jobs. They are union employees and decided to strike. They were warned and so the company is now filing bankruptcy. As an unemployed person trying desperately to find employment I don't feel sorry they did it to themselves.
  8. Not sure how far out you are but popcorn should wait for a while.
  9. Good for you. You made the right choice! Happy Valentine's Day!!
  10. I think you need to do what is best for you. Get a meal plan started and see how you do. I am with lollyfiddy, I try to eat 600-700 calories, the more I eat the slower I lose. Limit the amount of cheese I eat(because I love cheese). I try not to eat after 8:00pm so that I am not hungry in the morning. I don't always have a snack, only if I need it. I find that if I portion out 3 ounces of chicken for dinner I can eat this slowly and not need a snack.
  11. Sounds like you are dehydrated. Are you sipping water all day long? If not please start. Keep your water bottle with you at all times and keep sippin"!!
  12. Sounds like you are not ready to commit yet.
  13. Oh congratulations you must feel wonderful!! Can't wait to be in "onederland" with you!!!
  14. I think the best place to start is walking. Start slow so you don't over do it and walk every day: rain, snow or shine. If you make it part of your daily routine you will miss it if you don't walk. Good Luck.
  15. I know unbelievable eh! To all the employees that went on strike serves them right!! Now they have nothing.
  16. thank you so much. For the other poster he is in Tijuana Mexico
  17. 5' 10" size - 12/14 current weight - 212.6
  18. I understand that their meds are much cheaper. You would have no issue bringing it back. You could ask your surgeon if he has it in his pharmacy or he could get it for you. If you are going to TJ there are a couple of pharmacies very close by the hotel.
  19. Oh Congratulations you must feel wonderful!! You deserve it!!
  20. I believe it doesn't stretch as they removed the "stretchy" part of our stomach. I believe it just relaxes in time.
  21. This is an open forum and you can receive both positive and negative feedback. You have to be open to receive both.
  22. Wow hard lesson to learn, wish you the best.
  23. What would be the most worrisome is going into eat something that your stomach can't handle/or eating too much. You could get violently ill. Maybe try to work on this before surgery/get a lock put on your bedroom door so you can't get out
  24. Newgrandmother I am going to be a little harsh with you but have read some of your other posts. The issue may be your food choices: your diet is high carb, you are eating junk(sun chips) yes they are junk food. Chicken wings for lunch, full of fat and calories. I think that we had our surgeries around the same time. Get back to basics and follow a high protein, low carb regimen. No junk snacks, no non protein snacks. Eat around 600-800 calories, I found if I eat too many I actually will gain weight. I have invested too much not to be successful. You had the surgery to lose the weight for good!! YOU CAN do this!! All the best!!
  25. You probably had the surgery like I did so I wouldn't gain back any weight lost with the band. I have gone on and lost 45 pounds since my surgery, woohoo!! You did the right thing don't second guess yourself. You want your weight loss to be forever, so the sleeve was the best choice. You will feel better, one day at a time!
