  1. It was most definitely an alien like concept to me that I would be eating so little. I thought I would be starving and grumpy allll the time. But, alas, this was not the case at all! I love my sleeve, it, along with proper nutrition and exercise are the most amazing tools imaginable. I feel that immediately post-op the head hunger was the biggest challenge for me. But after a few emotional breakdowns, mind over matter picked up :-D yayyyy! Best wishes to you

  2. I am a food sniffer! It's almost as good as eating it, well that's what I tell myself. I smell everyones food- it borders on crazy but oh well. I don't think I could have a donut near me without it being someone else's though... That's just sick!! Lol

  3. I hope everything is going well for you. I wanted to offer that head hunger isn't just the thought that you are hungry or even craving food, it can also be a physical reaction manifested by the thought. Your body is not used to not consuming food. It will take a while for your brain to catch up to your new anatomy. The gas is also very true, it bubbles so much and is loud and seems like your stomach is growling. Once your brain catches up a lot of these symptoms subside. Also, it is okay to feel hungry. Someone once said that to me and it was a light bulb moment for me. Best wishes!!
