  3. All the best. You are doing really great. At week 3 I had a 3 week stall and felt sooooo discouraged. Your weight loss is terrific and while you may not be experiencing a stall I can tell you that this is definately the BEST thing that I have done for myself. I'm 6 months out now and have had a couple of stalls BUT the weight is coming off. I have nearly lost 100 lbs!! I feel terrific. You've made a decision that is life changing... hang in there - it is totally worth it!!
  4. Awesome topic!! All of the above...and trimming my toe nails without my stomach getting in the way
  5. Ohh thats exciting. I had my surgery 29 June in Wellington. Am really pleased with how everything went. Lost about 9kgs in the four week pre op diet and 6 since surgery. It has slowed down now... am experiencing an plateau (for the last 6 days) but it will pass soon enough. Its all very exciting!! All the best for your surgery.
  6. This is awesome, thanks. Has really helped me understand this more.

  8. Hi, I'm two and half weeks post op. I have lots of those hunger like pains at night. Its quite intense like I am ravishing or something. I am not 100% sure but I was reading up about it and it seems that it might be the stomach acid churning up. I take a Prilosec capsule in the morning and am going to try to also take one before dinner to see if that helps. Will let you know.
  9. Hi, I was sleeved June 29 in Wellington New Zealand. Am in a stall at the moment - grrr for almost a week. Reading comments on here is so encouraging. I was feeling so blue about it all - but I feel really encouraged by this forum. I need to increase my Water intake for starters, also now understand the churning feeling (like hunger pains) is likely stomach acid so will take an Omezol capsule in the afternoon as well until this settles down a bit. The stall this last week was really getting to me, so I hope for better results soon.
  10. Hi, just registered. I was sleeved 29 June in Wellington. Very happy with how things are going. Body is changing but have been in a plateau for almost a week. Has anyone else experienced this (plateau started 11 days post op.
