When did you get your surgery date? Before or after consent signing?

I will be having surgery in a few weeks and i don't planning on telling my kids until they are old enough to understand. They are 5,5, and 7.

Well i am so excited about being approved after two years of considering the sleeve and one yr of looking for financing and finally my.employer has coverage for wls. I jumped hoops for 6 months and was stressed and anxious about the whole approval process. Now that i am approved i have a new found worry. Surgery!! I am starting to have.dreams about surgery and i am having second thoughts. I am also having second thoughts about the Post op diet...i don't know if i am really ready for this life style change. I live in New Orleans where food is our culture. Surgery is next month...Hi, Dr. Lavin is my doc as well. I don't have my surgery date as i have to go to my consent signing appt. My question to you is..is March 25th the earliest Met. Appt available or a date you choose in advance?I was approved today, surgery next month. Can you tell me if you had loose skin and how you got rid of it,?Congrats. I was approved as well today within 24 hours!Thanks everyone!!I am so excited!!!!!! Approval took 24 hours.
