Today was the last of my 6 months supervised diet! But i was told by my PCP in order to submit i have to have an xray and cardiac clearance..my question is..do i have to have cardiac clearance before my advocate submits to the ins company...i hate to have this hold of submittal???

Has anyone doc ever handwritten the letter if medical clearance for the insurance company or surgeons office? Im nervous!

She told me it would be a 2-3 days turnaround....don't know why ut would take so long...lol

How long did your coordinator wait to submit all of your paperwork to your insurance company?? I will be finished will all appts on the 15th..just curious?

I think i am just going to tell them im using fmla and will be out 10 days. Idk..my short term disability forms ask what 'illness' i have....

So u mean to tell me is that i can notify just hr and my supervisor that i am having surgery and if it leaks out to employees that i am having surgery i can file a lawsuit?

I am so undecided as to if i should take sick or vacay leave for a week. The pros of sick leave are is that there is no set # of days you can or can't take. As long as it is documented. But the cons of sick leave. I have to tell my supervisors risking everyone (40) people in the office. Also the pros of vacay leave is no questions asked. No one in my business. My question is....what did you use?

Well thanks the responses! I bought my boots to wear for my bday tomorrow but I guess I have to switch it up

I am sure most of you ladies are wide calfed like me. ....I haven't been sleeved as of yet. I took the liberty to order some sexy boots off of a website and when I finally got em they didn't fit! I am so dissapointed but my question is...does your calves get smaller?? Help!

If I am not mistaken. Its state law for a person having surgery to have another person accompany them while in surgery.

I am aiming for a March date...so far my hubby knows. I don't know if my insurance will approve it so I don't want to get anyone upset until I know for sure. Then I will tell my mom and sisters and bff.
