  1. So I just woke up an hour ago. My family is still helping so I can sleep as late as I want' date=' and with four kids that is like a vacation all by itself lol. As suspected, I feel even better today than I did yesterday. My biggest problem is number two. I haven't pooped since before surgery! But I'm working on it :-)

    The pain is bearable. I'm really just using the pain killers for my butt hole :-s

    The cravings suck. But I'm making it work. Last night I grilled imitation crab meat and bacon and put a little cream cheese and peach preserves on it and ate it deservingly like a fat woman pregnant with twins.

    How far out on you..i can't have seafood for a month :(

    I was able to eat about three oz. joy.

  2. Went to my surgeon today for my 2 week follow up . He said it was fine to get back to the gym. No restrictions. I can use weights' date=' do crunches, swim, etc. he told me to be careful and make sure I listen to my body. If I get too tired to stop.[/quote']

    I had my follow up yesterday and they told me no abdominal exercises for a month....


  3. How are you losing so much so quickly? I must be a slow loser. I had surgery on 3/6 and down 11 pounds from that day. Including preop diet I am down 25. Can you tell us your routine? I'm just curious what we are doing different. My routine is this...

    Every 2 hours I take 3oz of a Protein drink getting a total of 60 grams of protein everyday.

    I sip Water all day long getting about 60 ounces a day.

    I started pureed food to try out... Yesterday I had ...

    2oz of oatmeal ( breakfast)

    1oz potato/tomato Soup (lunch)

    1oz pot roast/sweet potato/stock (dinner)

    I also take supplements...

    3 BariWise multivitamins

    4 bariatric Calcium tabs

    12 drops of b-12

    2 fiber chews

    I'd love to hear what others are doing.. This is all the food I can get down right now. That's why the amounts are so little. I don't think I'm getting any kind of nutrients out if it as of now

    I was told not to try roast until week 8 because its hard to digest.
