  1. I am on day 3. This is rough. It is amazing how our diet affects us. Last night I developed a massive headache and was vomiting. It was terrible. How do you get the optifasr shakes?
  2. You all have such great support stories. Thank you all. Today is another day. I made it through day 1. :-)
  3. I must look through my binder again but I feel unclear as to the number of shakes and/ or calories I can have in a day.
  4. You are all so encouraging. I am so excited to get the surgery and know this too shall pass. I see now as a result of this that it will be better for me to stay off until I am at least up to soft foods.

  14. I am a RN and work in home health care (intermittent visits). I carry a laptop with me and may just have many steps to walk but I plan to take a week off. Even though they say many go right back to work, nursing in an concentration is exhaustive and our body needs to rest.
  15. Has anyone had this test done showing mild gastric reflux and been told they cannot have Lap band?
  16. I have to pay $500 for 3 sessions and a report. Anyone have someone they recommend in the Philadelphia area that may be cheaper?

  20. Yes be glad you getting all this cleared up before surgery. The important thing is now to eat in order to heal appropriately. Take heart! You will get it done.
  21. Are any of you diabetics? How did you manage your diabetic medication while on the preop diet?

  23. I had one and now have a CPAP machine. While I am upset to have this, I know more than ever that I have to get this done as I do not want this to be a permanent condition.
