  1. I just find it so hard when I do not see the scale go down. I track everything in the app called Lose it! I eat 3 meals and try to get in as much fluid as possible but still do not seem to be losing anymore. I exercise at least 3 times weekly. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
  2. I want to thank you all for the positive responses. You all are very kind to share your paths to success. Many of us want your success and appreciate any help you can give.
  3. Thank you all so much. I am trying to get the scale to move like the rest of you and it does not seem to work. I have 5.5 cc into band, I track my calories, I push my fluids, and am now trying to exercise at least 3 times a week but things don't seem to move. I loss 24 lbs total, banded 9/24, but just can't move things like I need to. HELP!
  4. I am just curious as to exactly how many of you were able to lose your weight. Can you give us some exact information as to how you did it?
  5. I am so glad I protect myself. That would be for me the most horrible thing to have a baby as I start this new journey. I already have 2 teenage girls.
  6. Congratulations, that is great. I cannot wait to just break the 200s.
  7. Good for you! I know how that NSV feels.
  8. What have you all been doing to have such significant weight loses? They usually say you cannot lose that much with lapband. What is your advice?
  9. I am wondering if any of you have experienced this. ... I had not had my period in a couple of years. I thought I was all done even though I am only in my 40's. Well, I have been exercising and eating better and lo and behold, I just started my period. My GYN said this could happen but I just laughed. Just curious if anyone else's body has been changing like this.
  10. I hate to tell you but the chances of this relationship actually working is slim to none. Whatever he is going through it will pass. By the time he realizes it, you will be a totally different person. He will want to come back and you will be living a new life. Hang in there and enjoy the world God is opening up for you!
  11. I love what was said here. You will only punish yourself by overeating. Take back your life!! We are all rooting for you!!
  12. I got a second fill today and am on clear liquids got the day. I did, according to the doctor's office scale, loss 2 more pounds. I now have a total of 5.5cc in. I hope this will help me.
  13. I was banded on Sept. 24. I have loss 24 lbs. I have had one 3cc fill but do not feel the restriction I thought I would feel. I do get hungry all the time. I am in the doctor's office right now to see about getting another fill.
  14. You are all so wonderful. Thanks for the suggestions. I am seeing my surgeon tomorrow and seeing if I can meet again with the nutritionist.
  15. What things do you eat? That is another thing I find is that I feel like I am eating the same things and get bored.
  16. I did not take it in a bad way. I actually got a chuckle out of it. I definitely was not built in a day. I just worry as I am literally stuck at the same weight for weeks and am not feeling the fullness I expected. I am limiting myself but not because my band is assisting me.
  17. I love the Greek yogurt, yoplait's light yogurt is great, particularly the strawberry or mixed berry.
  18. Bmurillo That is the problem I am having. Some of our friends on this board discussed me not taking in enough calories. I get about 900 daily and add exercise and it is less. I am going to increase my intake a bit and see how that works.
  19. Welcome to our world. It really is great, the information you find on these boards.
  20. I am going to try to boost it up a bit. I am so fearful of eating too much that I keep my intake low. Couple that with exercise and it is even lower. I also have a doctor's appointment on Thursday to discuss this.
  21. That is a good idea. Thanks for making us all think about why we started this journey.
  22. Yes congrats! I know that is a BIG victory. I remember feeling bad because I had a friend that I traveled with that did not even know there was such thing as a seatbelt extender.
