  1. I just read all this and felt compelled to warn my husband: "Hon- be prepared for my irritability after surgery". Husband of the year: "worse than now?". He's on my crap list.... Again
  2. Hmmmm nope. But I had to re read it too. Let's just say I'm young. Are we good with that?
  3. 1) Passive Dependent isn't even an accurate term identified to diagnose someone. 2) i do think that taking a look at the depression is very important. It doesn't mean you can't ever have it but the psych found something concerning. That being said, if you have your psychiatrist review and get his/her opinion regarding the concerns- I'm quite certain that this will take presendence being they are your treating MD 3) Obesity does not cause depression in and of itself. Like mentioned- being overweight (lord knows I relate) can trigger and fuel the fire but there are genetic components as well to consider. Further- how one copes with such life stressors is huge. Otherwise we may as well say that everyone who is obese is depressed and that simply isn't true. Bottom line: there is a difference between major depressive disorder than a less severe type- or situationally induced (often not treated with meds). So hang in there- do what you have to do and keep fighting. I like what the person said before me- Not everyone is a candidate. I'm not saying that's you or not- buy I agree with that statement and I wish more psych Evals were more comprehensive than I've seen on here. Lots of positive thoughts sent your way ????????
  4. I just bought two nightgowns (I'm a lounge pants/t-shirt girl). I figure they will be comfortable at home and cute if I get any visitors
  5. .... The period of time between being told surgery is approved until I meet with the doctor again OR until pre op starts. Just so happens to be my favorite part of the pre surgery phase. Mind you me- I will be happy to give it all up when the time is here. As a refresher: the worst part of pre surgery: waiting for approval. :-)
  6. Ha! I think my drivers says 155. I haven't been that since freshman year of high school. Before my kids it said 132. I don't EVER recall that number. Luckily I bumped it up to 155
  7. I'm the SAME way! I totally replaced my Facebook addiction with another . I like this better.
  8. I don't think my doc will require either from rumors I'm hearing buy I may do liquids for 3-4 days. I think it's just how comfortable the doc is.
