  1. Too funny. Well I expect it to be used then. I'd like you to go to surgery first though as this isn't all about you but rather- paving the road for me . Hahahahahahahahahha
  2. Good luck to you! I'm from Wiconsin. Not many of us
  3. Those are great pics! You look fabulous!
  4. And I'm asking for the 10th. I'll find out Tuesday. Fingers crossed
  5. Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing
  6. What an inspiration! You can so do this! Look at how far youve come
  7. Wow that seems like a lot! I see the doc next Tuesday but I'm hearing he doesn't require much of a pre op. Weird how docs are different. I wish she would- without her telling me I "have" to- I'm not likely to stick to anything. Hence- the need for this tool. Best of luck in the next few weeks
  8. Oooh that's a month away. Do u know what your doc requires for pre op?
  9. Hee Hee- seriously! You're APPROVED. Now schedule your day for sept 10 (my way of keeping my anxiety down as I'll be a basket case the moment I walk in). So if to be unselfish- you and the rest of the September peeps should rearrange schedules to me MY needs . Hahah- JK Yep positive thoughts. Nothing but optimistic and positive thinking. You rock!
  10. I found out the same day Chad I'm shooting for a Sept 10 date. My hubby don't really doesn't understand either and I think he knows I'm going to do it regardless. This site has been sooooo helpful for me. Not so much for advice on what to eat- when etc as I will follow doctors orders to the T. But it's about the journey itself. Congratulations on your approval- be proud and excited! You've reached the next step
  11. How exciting! Praying for you and fellow sleevers
  12. Welcome! You sound so sweet and it Sounds like you have a wonderful life . This is such a journey- one in which I've never gone through and am looking forward to my surgery and moving on to th next phase. Thanks for sharing your story xxxx
  13. PS- I also had the 6 month. I still struggle.
  14. I just used the term because I see it on here a lot. By nature - I don't take things too seriously - love to have a good time and am usually pretty opimistic. That being said- I think you are totally entitled to your opinions. Quite honestly I find it comical on here that so many people get so upset by people'a posts. It Sounds like you have developed a healthy relationship - yea relationship- with food. I, on the other hand, do not
  15. Have you tried Chantix? Worked wonders for my hub's chewing? Now that you're two weeks away I know that isn't the answer now but wondering if you ever tried it?
  16. Praying.....
  17. This is a big surgery and is an emotional roller coaster ride. Just remember it will pass but I agree- see if you can get some help even a couple hours at a time so you can rest properly. As you heal- I'm sure you will get stronger ad the hormones will begin to balance out. We are here for you!! Keep talking girl! If it keeps you from taking it out on the kiddos - pop on here an just keep on talking- xxxx
  18. Can someone explain that "feeling" please? That's probabaly what worries me most post op (when I get there). I get a feeling of stuck in my throat as it goes down when I chew and swallow too much starchy stuff at once. It FREAKS me out and momentarily will think I'm dying. I will do anything to avoid that.
