  1. I'm having a lot of problems with this site. I can't access personal messenger. It says I don't have permission. I tried multiple times to send a help request and it won't go through. This is such a bummer bc this is such a great source of support.
  2. You look fantastic!!
  3. My profile now says lap band. Does anyone know how to change it? I'm not sure what I did.

  5. I actually liked all 3 flavors and also the bars. I did not like the soups. You can add sugar free syrups to them. My favorite was coconut syrup with the chocolate. It tasted like an almond joy. The nut will give you a bunch of examples in the optifast class. The salads really helped me get through the preop diet. Good luck on your journey.
  6. You are not doing anything wrong! I count from the start of my journey. I also have a lot to lose.
  7. I'm can totally relate! I'm down 80 pounds since the start of my journey. Hard to wrap my brain around it. When I started I was in a size 26 and am now fitting in some size 18s. I feel like I am now living and not just existing. This has been one of the best decisions of my life even with the rough beginning. Congrats on your weight loss!
  8. So sorry you are having such a rough time. I had surgery the day after you. I hope you feel better soon.
  9. I used to get them a lot. Stomping my foot and icy hot helped. Those are painful
  10. Good luck with your surgery and congrats on your 80 pound weight loss! That is fabulous! I lost about 19 pounds before surgery and my liver was fine. I had some trouble with nausea but meds helped. Make sure you ask for them if you need them. I had a bit of a rough start but would do it again in a heartbeat.
  11. It can be overwhelming but I find it really helpful to learn As much as I can. This is a great site to get info. Having support is so helpful. I have problems with my ankle and knees so I haven't really been able to develop a workout routine. I try to walk as much as I can tolerate.
  12. I had my surgery on 7/23/13. I woke up from surgery with a binder and it was a lifesaver for me for the first 1-2 weeks. Everyone is different though. I am down 75 pounds since starting this journey and although I had some problems in the beginning, I have no regrets. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Friends and family have been very supportive. Good luck on your journey!
  13. Hi pittguy! Glad to hear you are doing so well. I am 68 pounds down since the start of this journey and am feeling really good. I have ankle/knee issues which make exercise difficult. I too follow Soccermom's advice and have not had any problems with my pouch.
  14. No way could I have done that! I was nauseous, in pain and didn't get dressed. A shower wiped me out.
  15. I don't think it's an overreaction at all! Trust your gut. Good job taking care of yourself!
  16. So sorry u had this experience. I had to go to the er bc of a bowel impaction. It was horrible but I did get relief.
