  1. I already called the dr thinking it was related to my fill I had yesterday. He said they are not related but if I think I'm to tight he will remove some Fluid in the morning. I'm having these stabbing pains on my lower to mid stomach.perhaps I have the flu. I walked to the bathroom and nearly passed out. I haven't been able to drink much today possibly dehydrated??? Ugh I hate feeling this way hopefully I'll feel better after I take advil.

  2. I was banded Sept 20. I'm down 37 lbs. Had my forth fill today. 5.9 in 10cc band. Current weight 190. You and I are close in everything

Yes we are. This last fill has been very different though. I'm very restricted right now almost wondering if its to tight. I'm also ruining a low grade temp. I called the dr to see if I am to tight, he said to give it until tomorrow and if I'm not any better he will remove some Fluid. It took me an hour to eat chobani yogurt, and 3 bites of poached eggs for dinner I had 4 bites of chicken noodle Soup. I'm now trying to eat mango sorbet. Dr did say the fever isn't related to the fill, but anything I eat or drink hurts going down feels like a stuck episode.anyone else experience this?

  3. Hi I was banded on september 11 and just had my 6 week post op. I'm down 32 lbs, and learning as I go. I'm on reg food but taking it slow. I've gone through some personal changes recently a break up with my boyfriend and possibly new job. Both are good changes. I'm ready now to start working out to tone and build muscle. I'd be happy to hear from my fellow bandsters. Wishing everyone great success.

  4. I went for my appointment and am down 32 lbs.my starting weight was 236 and now 204. The dr is very impressed with my weight loss so far. I did have another fill today my 2nd and I can feel the difference. I don't go back until mid december for my next followup. Hr also released me to work out at the gym so I don't have any restrictions now. my next goal is to be under 200 within 2 weeks.

  5. The only problem is I'm going out to a little dive bar that won't have wine. As far as crystal light no bar around me has that either. So what's the best when you don't want soda or any carbonation. Do you bring your own crystal light and mix it with vodka? I want to know what you all do when you go out

  6. Its HUGE adjustment the surgery fixes our stomach but not our mind. I'm not prefect but I try my best everyday. There are days where I'm not hungry at all and then there are days that I'm starving. Try to stay away from high calorie high fat food foods. I still have my reg coffee with either skim milk or reg cream, or a slice of pizza that I chew very well no crust. Its all about choices and how bad you want to lose this weight once and for all. My dr said he would give me a fill at 3 weeks if I want and I'm not losing.however I'm still listing down a total 24 lbs. I'm pleased with that and still have approx 53lbs to go

  7. I was banded on sept 11 and I'm having a hard time already emotionally. I didn't expect to feel this way. I didn't realize how much of a food addict I was/am until I got banded. Whenever Im stressed, upset, happy etc needless to say I'm am an emotional eater far more then I thought. Because I'm only able to eat full liquids I don't feel satisfied.I'm not hungry but being banded has caused me to have to deal with my emotions instead of stuffing them down. So needless to say I've done a lot of crying over the last wk. I was considering counseling to help coup with my new body once that happens but thinking I may need it now to address other ways to help me deal with my feeling since I can't eat them away anymore Has anyone else experienced this? And how did you handle it. This has completely caught me off guard. I know they fixed my stomach and not my mind and how I've associated with food for years.

  8. That is a great weightloss. I was banded on sept 11th. I'm on full liquids but at my post op they said I could do refried Beans with cheese and low fat sour cream. And mashed potatoes. I did have a luncheon turkey sandwich but I don't think that was a good idea just because I can do it doesn't mean I should. so today I was back to my normal diet Jello, Soup, beans blended and pudding. I can have my first fill on 3 weeks post op. I find that I can eat more in one sitting but I don't I pre measure everything to keep myself from over eating. My advice is follow your dr orders and know soft foods will come soon. This too shall pass. Hang in there
