You are lucky. I had to do two weeks pre op full liquids. and 48 hours pre op full Clear Liquids. bleh, I think i had a total of 500 calories between yesterday and today. But surgery is in about 16 hours and I've lost 15 lbs, so i'd say in the end it has been worth it

I'm getting excited. this clear liquid diet is no joke though. lol I will let you know how everything goes.

My surgery was moved two days sooner to Tuesday the 28th and now I feel a little bit rushed. I have questions for you all. What are things you wish you got done before surgery? What are things you wished you brought to the hospital with you? What are things you did to prepare for surgery? I want to start a checklist.

I feel your pain. I have been on 100% liquid diet since Wednesday and had a moment of weakness that lead to some Sushi. I got right back on track, I don't feel guilty and I actually lost a few more pounds. It is all mind over matter, if you think it you can do it. Thin like a thin person. Pick up a pen and doodle or write how you are feeling instead of eating to cure your stress. You can do this!

I just ordered the Unjury starter kit and the big order of the Chicken Soup protein I'm excited to try, I've heard great things.

I am down 3 lbs, I'm sure it is just water weight, but I woke up this morning and weighed myself, it gave me the courage to keep on going, only 14 days left until surgery.

yay it is great, Friday morning I weighed in a total of 8 pounds lighter. Only 12 days to go!!!

Hm. I am not there yet, I think I am the opposite, when i was about 220 my face was fine and not fat, once I gained a few more pounds it was like all of a sudden I had the double chin from hell. I can hide it well in pictures, but the girl in the pictures isn't the girl I see in the mirror. I hope you find peace with your face, it looks beautiful to me from your picture, maybe a little bit of change would help you appreciate it more. A different hair cut? New make up?

I am on my first day of my 2 week pre op liquid diet. I can honestly say that I needed this thread, my stomach is growling, I'm going to go drink some water and distract myself. i can tell that most of my "hunger" is mental as well, I got through the work day just fine. @rachel please don't give up, we are in this together. With everything it is one day at a time, if you didn't make it one day just pick up where you left off the next day. Believe in yourself!

Hey I am getting banded August 30th. I am looking for a mentor to help me through, someone who would like to communicate through email/fb/text as I hate the phone and don't have time for personal visits. I do have friends who have been banded, however they aren't on good paths, they just eat the same foods but less. I want total success. thanks Cass

I am so ready for this mentally and physically. I am just getting excited and a bit anxious. I have no idea how life will be thin, it is going to be strange to me. I have never been thin, it is kinda like my weight has been a barrier for me. I'm excited to see how different things will be professionally, and in the "art scene" (I am a part time artist). I wonder if I will be taken more seriously. Has anyone else delt with this. I have to take a deep breath during the day to level myself down from thinking and just enjoy the ride.
