Today Im 2 months post op and have lost 29 pounds as of this morning, to me this is very very slow as before surgery when I would diet I have dropped 85 pounds in less then 3 months, I was much heavier then when I started this time but it still seems like I should be losing much faster, and the reason for the surgery is I can never keep it all off. So I was wondering what was y'alls starting weight and how much did y'all lost at 2 months post op? Thanks any answers would be appreciated.

I do, I wasn't losing weight but gaining weight so me and my Nut decided I needed to try something I knew how to do, well that was my words and she agreed so Now I eat healthy choice, smart ones, lean cusine, I can only eat a little more then half depending on how big that certain dinner is. But I dont think its making a difference I have dropped only a couple pounds in this last week since I started, if by the end of this week I don't lose anything I'm thinking about seeing my surgeon. Sorry I went on and on I'm just having a hard time with having this major surgery and very little weight loss.

I have a bad rash on my back, I'm going to see my Dr. Thursday to see what's causing it.

Ok I wanted to see if anyone could help me out by maybe giving me some advice especially if you went through this or someone you know. First tomorrow will be 1 month post op, I Was fine the whole time even right after surgery, Then I started having a terrible pain in my side and back about 7 days ago went to the Er sat there about 45 minutes then Dr. Comes in I tell him what's hurting and tell him right before he walks out that I had the gastric sleeve done almost a month ago, he says ok leaves and never comes back then 2 hours then they give me a shot for pain that didnt even help then a while after that they did a urine test and a ct scan on me and after just sitting there hours but that's a whole different story. Then a nurse comes in with discharge papers and says ok heres your script for such and such I was like what's wrong with me she says oh you have a uti and kidney infection, then I say so NO leak and she kinda just looks at me funny and says noo, then she says oops brb she comes back and says that the Dr. Forgot to sign the scripts. By the way I have never had a uti or a kidney infection before, just thought I'd throw that in there. Anyway the reason I'm asking for yall's help is, it's been 7 days NO relief I'm hurting like H_ll!!!! I had 5 children and this pain is right up there with having the 1 I had natural with not even a aspirin! It's been 3 days on the antibiotics and pain meds and nothing is changing the pain in my side and back is killing me, it hurts soo bad. Does any one think they should have did blood work on me and should the Dr have came in and gave me the news, I mean I know they were Very busy that morning but just a couple minutes of his time would have made me feel better. Also Should I go back to the Er today? I'm sorry I'm just so desperate at this point.

Update: Dr. Said EVERYTHING is fine and looks normal, blood work came back perfect, in his words, so he has no idea why I'm hurting soo bad in my side and back, he said maybe pulled muscles so he wrote me a script for muscle relaxers, oh and he also said that my kidneys would not be causing this pain I'm having. Soo idk just wanted to update Hope everyone has a great day :-)

Thanks everybody for y'alls reply the Dr. Called me back and said he was looking at my ct scan and it was good but for me to go back to the er and he has ordered me some blood work and a chest X-ray so as soon as hubby gets home from work to watch the lil ones I'm on my way.

Thanks LessofKelly I called and left a message on My surgeons phone hopefully someone calls me back soon. Also another reason I don't think I have a uti infection I don't hurt when I pee I wonder if that matters or don't make a difference.

I had my gallbladder taken out about 12 years ago. And I think that was me who wrote about the uti and Kidney infections. Thanks I will have to do something I have 5 kids who depend on me cause their father works a lot.

I did call and talk to Lisa before They said I should get down to the er and she said Dr. Cuttingham would see me there, he NEVER came. So idk maybe I should give her another call today.

Thanks y'all, that helps a lot. I have only drank 2 protein drinks since surgery and I'll be a month post op on the 23rd and I'm only getting in between 16.9 fl oz water and maybe another half bottle of that so on a good day 24 OZs of water, maybe that was the whole problem.

Well they did an X-ray and said its an Urinary Tract infection And a Kidney infection, I don't believe I have ever had either, anybody know what might have caused this?

I will be 1 month post op on the 23rd and I'm in the Er right now waiting on a Dr. Because I have been having terrible pains on my side and into my back for 4 days now and when I woke up this morning I couldn't take it anymore, I'll let you know what they say, hopefully it's nothing serious I have 5 Lil ones that need me.
