  1. I went October 24' date='2012, and I used dr Jose Castaneda Cruz. He does his surgery in puerto Vallarta, premier hospital. I highly recommend him and his team they were fantastic. The hospital we had surgery in was amazing top notch, it would put some of the alberta hospitals to shame. The hospital staff amazing as well, you are well taken care of, this hospital is only open to tourists. Are you going through a facilitator or through medical tourism?[/quote']

I also went to Dr. Castaneda Cruz in PV. He was incredible. I HIGHLY recommend him. Everything was amazing!

  2. OMG thank you for posting this. I think I ate too fast this morning and the same thing happened to me. It was disgusting. I only ate half an egg so I don't think it was too much but I bet it was too fast. I'm only 3 week post op and still learning how to slow down.

  3. 2 weeks post op today...Im down to 171 today. Pre surg weight 183.3. But heaviest weight 270' date=' One pound from losing 100 lbs. I hope everyone is enjoying the journey as much as I.[/quote']

That's awesome! I am two weeks post op tomorrow. I have lost 21 since surgery and 51 in total. I am so excited about my new life!

  4. Hi everyone' date=' I live in Lethbridge and am just beginning this journey. I will be going to Mexico, on a self-pay program through WLF (weight loss forever) and am pretty excited about it. This is early stages for me, no surgery date booked yet. Great to see others having such success - its helps me to know that this is the right decision. Thanks for all the positive posts, I'll keep checking in.[/quote']

Congratulations! I had my surgery 11 days ago in MX and I don't regret a thing. The first few days were tough but it got better. I am so happy that I am changing my life.

  5. Hi' date='

Welcome to our little group...I am having sleeve on the 14 of Aug....we can be sleevers together :) you have that long of a pre op diet?? I thought 3 weeks was the longest. I wish you luck and there is many others who have gone to MX as well...you will be in good hands from all that I have read[/quote']

Thanks for the welcome! I have chosen to do the pre op diet early. Mostly so that I am not tempted to eat EVERYTHING for the "last time". I am bad for doing that before I start diets. This time will be different, so I am behaving different. It's a personal choice not something my doctor asked me to do.
