  1. I had 80 grams of protein today and I am still hungry. Going to bed so I don't think of food. I thought I wouldnt live meal to meal anymore but this week has been rough. I am also on a major stall. Haven't lost in awhile. Very discouraged!
  2. I am thinking my sleeve must be larger than others is that possible?
  3. I am 6 weeks out and lately I've been hungry every 2-3 hours. Will this feeling go away? I hope so it's scaring me. I am trying to eat high protein to fill me up for longer periods but it's not working like before.
  4. I remember asking the nurse in the room whether they spoke English ( surgery was in Mexico) when he said yes I said please make sure I wake back up. I woke up with hardly any pain and no complications. I am 6 weeks out now and doing great!
  5. I use a straw. Can tolerate everything that I have tried or wanted to try. I love spicy foods. Have had pizza, bread, sushi, and I am 6 weeks out. The only difference is I have a small portion instead of gorge myself. I haven't tried beer or diet soda and hope to stay away from both forever.
  6. Started at 212. Day of surgery Aug. 9th 206. Now at 188 and I have been stuck here for 2 weeks. I have had no complications and can tolerate any food. Hoping scale moves soon because lately I feel hungry and I am getting a bit discouraged.
  7. The plan being low carb protein. I will be back on tomorrow. Thanks for showing me the light because I was getting discouraged with the stall I guess I wondered a bit off the plan.
  8. I was sleeved August 9th and am not having trouble getting any food down. Sometimes I wonder if my sleeve isn't small enough. I hear all these stories about people getting sick from certain foods. I have also only lost 24 lbs And 5 was post op. I have been at the exact same weight for 2 weeks now! I can tolerate every food. Nothing bothers me. Should I be worried?
  9. I didn't take any pain medication after I left the hospital. No pain at all and no complications!
  10. Your experience sounds very similar to mine except I used Lopez.
  11. I have lost 23 and have 50 to go. I am 3 weeks post op
  12. I am 3 weeks pre op with no complications. I had no pain except maybe gas, which walking helps. I have very little scaring and I am down 23 lbs. I have a low BMI so realize my weight loss will probably be slower but so far so good.
  13. No food bothers me and since I already tried it same with alcohol. I sort of wish it did. Now I couldn't drink it down like I normally would but still burn free.
  14. I may like the vodka and Sobe I will have to try that one. Tequila makes me crazy, lol
  15. Wow no one said I was driving last night, lol
  16. He sounds very reasonable. I went to Mexico and the only downside to that is no one to ask the questions to privately. Happy to have the forum though
  17. Randgalt is that the same as soda because I also have heard soda is a no no. Thanks MJ I am with you on that note. Funny I had a stall went out last night and this morning BAM scale moved 3 lbs. I was think my sleeve enjoyed those 2 cocktails I had last night and maybe I needed a few extra calories.
  18. If that's the case I will just find an alternative to get me drunk. Just kidding, lol
  19. So is that carbonation thing forever?
  20. Well beer is as always my drink of choice. I am afraid I will stretch the sleeve though. Is that forever? I had a glass of wine and a vodka drink last night and they just dont do it for me (no judgement please)
  21. Water is boring and I was asking seriously so if you have nothing to add then don't. I am a little over 3 weeks post op. and I am having my annual party at my tiki bar next week.
  22. I Understand you shouldn't drink it but what if youre out with the girls and you want a drink? I understand that there is extra calories involved that you shouldnt have with your diet. PS I hate wine! I am a former beer drinker
