  6. Congrats ... I did just what you did. I had completed all required work ups and was completed within my 3month requirement. However I picked a surgery date 2 months later because I needed to get everything right at home and work. Doing this has allowed me to be off from work for 8wks. Now please believe and understand that I am going completely crazy and ready to run back to work. Lol. Nov 12th or 13Hershey she comes. Look out. Now in your excited state go get prepared. Your date will be here very quickly.

  11. I do understand. I am eating 2oz of protien. If I can get in the the veggies I do. I can have 2oz of meat 1oz of veggies 1oz of starch or canned fruit. I haven't don't the fruit. I have only had squash. I find with fish I can digest more than if I eat chicken. I guess because it's softer. For a snack I eat cheese and 3 crackers. Yogurt but I can't really digest Jello to good. What did your doctor say about you advancing yourself? Are you still losing?
  12. You have some great recipes on your page. Where did you get them from. I have looked at a few cook books but nothing like the ones you have. I going to make several of them.
  13. Yes I was also. My surgeon advanced me early. Said I was doing great. Last night I made salmon cakes. Today I had a fake out cheese omelet(one egg with pepper jack cheese). I had Tilapia and chicken but I have not had potatoes of green beans. That sound good. The chiil i did on my purée . I purred Wendy's chilli and it was GREAT.
  14. Lucky and crazy.. Going crazy? What are you eating ?
  15. First let me say a big hello to you. Sleeve should not be a contraindication to HIV. Check with your doctor and pharmacist about using a liquid form of anti vials. Why are you concerned with the two. I work in health care and EVERYDAY surgeries are performed on HIV patients. As you said tat this is it so you need to put your boots on get to researching. Talk to anyone you think can help. I will be waiting on you on the losers bench.
  16. LMAO. I had to read several times. But congrats. And u tell her I said u go girl. Everyone wins.
  17. Ok I was just trying see where I was at. Lol. I am 3wks and 3 days out. I have lost 20 since surgery. I'm able to stay out from work until nov 21 but I think I'm going back early. I'm going crazy.
  18. I haven't had bad thoughts either. I just worry that it wont work. Just early out jitters I guess. I wasnt nervous about any of the this, and haven't had any problems. Just going crazy. Maybe I need to go back to work. Lol
  19. I'm 3 weeks out. I do understand what you guys are talking about. Now I keep going crazy thinking that the sleeve will not work. I had a great surgery with a excellent recovery so I guess that's why I'm going crazy with crazy thoughts.
  20. You will lose. This is your help. Old habits are hard to break when it comes to food comforts. Just stay focused and you will see the pounds and inches melt away. If your hungry from being and seeing everyone upset then you will need to address that issue and find ways to push through that. But I just know you will be just fine. This is a life long challenge for all of us so don't feel alone. Hit me up whenever you need a boost.
  21. Stay prayful. I was denied and it has been a long journey. I had the same issues as you but then three later I had a higher BMI with all the bells and whistles. I switched jobs twice and finally got my new insurance to approve me. Your time well come soon. Don't give up or in.
  22. Don't worry I'm sure your doing fine. Thank you Jesus he went.. Yayyyyy. Keep us posted on your progress.
  23. I remember it was in Jacksonville. Did you get someone to go with you. How are you. I had mine 9/24 and I'm doing good.
