Tonight was my last solids!!! We went out to ClaimJumper! I can't believe how good that meal was! Filet Mignon......and even half a brownie for dessert! It was a nice dinner out, but I am ready for my new life to start! I have a positive attitude. Tomorrow I start liquids!

It's finally here! After waiting 3 months I can't believe it is the big day! I'm excited and anxious to get it over with.
I was supposed to have it at 12:00, but I got a call that it is pushed back to 2:45......geez, more time with no food or water.........and nerves going on.
Oh well...I just wanted to record how I feel on this day.........hopefully a new beginning. I hope this is the answer to many years of despair and embarrassment over how I look.

One Week TO GO!

One week until band day! 3/4/07!
Well, this is my first journal entry.
I have a week to go, I've had my pre-op and I start my liquid diet on Sunday.
It is a weird time because all I think about is the surgery and what it will be like afterwards. I'm also obsessed with food, buying the post-op stuff and eating stuff I "might never eat again"
I hope I can conquer the emotional eating part with the help of the band.
I love reading the postings on this board and looking at the pics. Talk about inspiration!
