Hi! I'm in the same boat, only I'm really patient and I still don't lose weight. I haven't had mine done yet, but I'm meeting with the surgeon Monday for my initial consult because I'm tired of starving to lose 3 lbs in 3 months and then gaining it back as soon as I decide to eat one normal meal. I did read that there have been quite a few studies that have shown that Lap Band has cured Metabolic Syndrome
