  1. I thought I had been lucky about hair loss! OH MY! I am almost 8 months postop, and it is falling like I am sick! I am afraid to wash my hair, to brush it ans to even touch it! :S. I was expectingnit, but never this late! It started about two months ago, and it hasnt stopped! Will it really stop sometime ans will it grow back?!?! any experiences or advice highly appreciated!!
  2. my first time EVER experiencing this..... not painful, just unconfortable. I am not really constipated, though! did anybody experience this? does it go away after a while?! i hope it does!...
  3. I had my mirena for 2 years, but It was removed about two years ago because i started gaining some weight, and was nearly impossible to lose no matter what super diet I tried. ..... as soon as it was out of my body, the weight started coming off! crazy!
  4. I am 6 months postop. I started at 236 lbs on May 1st, and today I weigh 146, and even though I am thankful and happy, I am starting to feel frustrated!!!!! my scale has NOT moved for about 1.5 months. I know stalls are normal, but I wonder if it will continue moving down! I still want to lose 10-15 more pounds! The last ones are probably the hardest, how did you guys get to your goal? My motivation is close to zero now, because my scale doesn't move.
  5. Crystal, that sounds like a plan!! I will start tomorrow! I wonder if going back to 3 shakes a day like the two weeks postop could also have the same effect.
  6. Hello!! Is grrilled chicken all you eat ? Like only one meal? Or do you eat that throughout the day? I want to have plastic surgery to remove my abdominal excess skin, so I am willing to try anything to get to goal before the surgery.
  7. It is so weird! I am wearing a size 4 today, and weighing 146. Back in elementary I was probably around the same weight but never wore anything smaller than a size 10! go figure! probably our bodies change so much through the years that we wont know what we want to look like and what we will be wearing at a specific weight until we get there! kinda fun!!! just enjoying the ride!
  8. Yes! Yes! Yes! It is normal!!!!!! I was like that too, and researched a LOT, and found out it is really documented and true! and rhank God normal! I even cried everytime I posted things here and nobody answered because "we have already posted about this before"!!!! imagine that!
  9. why is it ao important for weightloss? I've always wondered!....... it is obviously not to make us feel fuller faster, since we should never eat and drink. Any ideas?

  11. Hello! As of today, I am 90 lbs down!!!! I weigh 148, so 15 more lbs to goal weight! couldnt be happier! although I hate the many stalls I have been through.....

  13. Howdy! During my preop appts, I remember my surgeon saying how the first 6 months were pretty much the weight loss months..... and whatever came after that was just "extra". I am about to hit 6 months postop, and have not lost a pound for 4 weeks. ..... Although I feel amazing with my weightloss so far , I am worried I wont be able to lose my last 20.
  14. yes! I always drank coffee every morning, and afternoon, and my surgeon said that during endoscopies my tummy looked amazingly healthy, so he told me it was ok! :s
  15. I have 5 cups of regular coffee a day! and lattes and sugar free coffee drinks! and no problem!

    I started bootcamp training with situps and crunches ( cleared by my dr) at 4 weeks out. he literally said to me : " You've been cleared for every kind of physical activity imaginable, so go work it out, and take advantage of these honeymoon months"
  18. I am 4.5 mos out, and stalled for about a month ( at 3.5 mos out) at 172!!!!! arrgggh!!!! It just sucked and felt like I was never getting out of that number! however... I started losing FAST again and am at 157 today! So I guess its normal. just eat and do what you're supposed to. good luck!
  19. I was sleeved May 1st, and according to my dr. and medical charts I am 15 lbs away from my goal weight. I am wearing a size 6, and I am 5'4. I feel awesome!!!!!! However........ I meet people everyday who tell me I already look too thin!!! At first it was flattering, but now ita obnoxious, and frustrating to know that I "am not there yet" and people are telling me to "stop losing", that I am "obsessed" and so on...

  23. For some reason I cant see any profiles, change settings or pretty much anything!..... Ive looked up VST on my iphone's settings, and I dont see it. do you know how to change settings on an iphone?

    Anyone Start At 240Ish Lbs?

    Hey! ThAnk You! Well, I only have one shake a day, and still eat because I "have to". I am still never hungry. for Breakfast (7 am) I have either a 4 oz. Protein shake or 3/4 of an egg. then for lunch (2 pm) any kind of meat , tuna, chicken or etc..... then a snack at around (5 pm) a bag of protein chips, or a yoghurt, or string cheese or cottage cheese, and then dinner ( 8 pm) I have any leftovers from lunch or a shake. its pretty much pure protein All day! Hope it helps!!! It has worked for me!!
