  1. MRSA is pretty common in the hospital setting and in the community these days. Don't fret' date=' we are praying for you
  2. That was easy! Good for you!
  3. Boricua ( Puerto Rico) Taina in da house! I am not sleeved yet, but already dreading family thanksgiving. Including pic pf last year's spread. Yes food is a big part of family. It will be interesting, especially since I am planning not to tell my parents.
  4. Not sleeved yet, just getting my info for pre and post op diet
  5. Not looking forward to this.
  6. I chose to be sleeved, hopefully in the next month, because i have heard more bad about the band than good. Too much maintenance, fills, slips erosion, slow weight loss, infections. It just seems too much mechanical maintenance. No wonder there is such a fail rate, your too busy worrying about the band, you don't have time to focus on diet and healthy habits. Just mho
  7. I was so afraid of slow weight loss, that's why I ask. Good news so far!
  8. Just had my papers sent to my insurance, hoping for an Oct date. I want to get a sence of what weight loss is (in general, everyone is different) post sleeve for those with BMIs under 40
  9. OMg thank you for this post! I am going for the sleeve next month, but have not exercised in a couple of years, at least. i have bad kneed, ankle arthritis, from years of running, severe plantar faciitis. i know I will start out slow, and its necessary to keep from having hanging flab, but other posts had me worried...an hour a day 6 days a week? I have 4 kids and a full time job, that's almost impossible
  10. And that is only if your BMI is under 40
  11. Only one co-morbidity is required in the federal BCBS
  12. Woohoo!!! I also have Fed BCBS and my papers were submitted today!!!!!! Wish me luck!!!!!!!
  13. Hmmm. Not as flexible as I used to be, I don't think I will be able to see ms V without a mirror again, i will be able to see her tresses though, lol!
